There is a documentary on BBC4 this Friday at 9pm. its all about the Brits and how they conquered America. I'm pretty sure there will be alot about The Beatles in it.

Originally, Let It Be was going to be released under the name Plastic Ono Band, however Lennon decided to release instant karma instead. Instant Karma was no.6 in the charts the week Let It Be entered at no.2 - held off no.1 by Lee Marvin Wanderin Star of all things!

George wrote the song but was found to have accidentally plaigarised the Chiffons one fine day, however as a nod to George Harrison The Chiffons later recorded their own version. Shoop Shoop song is a curious one the actusl figure should be 515,000. These shows round figures, sometimes up sometimes down. the actual figure for Stay is 484,455 so if it were rounded to the nearest 10,000 the correct figure is 480,000.

Good Times is another good song of thiers, it didnt chart for them in the 60's but Inxs took it into the top 20 in 1991

I Dont Want To Miss A Thing - Aerosmith currently on 975k should pass a million within the next years or so.
