The best decade?
I like the 90's best, as that was when I grew up. though the 60s was undeniable a huge influence on everything that has happened since. There was some great music from that decade. 80's was good too. The worst decades probably I'd say the 00's and 70's - though they both have had their good bits too.

Up-Dated UK Million Sellers - On BBC Radio 2
White Christmas is a million seller but most of its sales pre date the chart, which only counts sales from Nov 1952. I'm not sure about Little Jimmy Osmond, the song is hardly a classic so I wouldnt be surprised if it hadnt sold 2000 downloads. But then again you never know...

Up-Dated UK Million Sellers - On BBC Radio 2
not really, but if you take extremely unpopular singles that were in the 2002 chart, you can say with pretty much certainty that they wont have sold many in downloads since 2004. For example Eyel Level By Simon Park 1,005,000 in 2002, not gonna be alot more than that now, 5000 maybe absolute max.

Will classic singles still be as big today
The modern music of the day, whatever era you talk about is always hated by everyone except the teenagers. Though the music from today that wont be heard in years to come is rap/hip hop and also alot of tv reality and boyband stuff as this always gets ignored by radio etc

Up-Dated UK Million Sellers - On BBC Radio 2
Both 96 and 98 version of Three Lions sales have been combined which is wrong as they both have different words and therefore a different song.

Will classic singles still be as big today
Yes DSB was a hit again but was it being bought by young people who were into R&B? Personally I dont think it would.

Will classic singles still be as big today
I cant see a young person now who is into R&B, liking 80s/90's pop rock. However it might appeal to other young people who dont like R&B. So it depends really...

Some questions about the chart I wanna know
"Do illegial downloads count towards the chart? " This is like asking if someone steals a cd from HMV, do HMV count it as a sale!

How can an urban domination of the charts be stopped?
Urban music is a pain, though if thats what young people like, then thats what they like. I have to say though that tv and radio could do with promoting other genres more. Though thats where radio 1 is sopposed to come in, as they are not a commercial station, and dont have to rely on advertising.

Tom Jones.
I liked his reload album from 1999, a colloboration with current acts of the time. Can never understand why he hasnt done another one as its his biggest selling album. If I only Knew, a 1994 single produced by Trevor Horn was also good.

Classic Old Skool Hip-Hop Singles (circa. 1986-1995)
What is everyones favourite old Hip Hop singles, especially from the late 80's - early 90's? Which in my opinion was the best time for Hip Hop music before the arrival of the the Gangsta Sh!te. One of my favourites is Rob Base & DJ EZ Rock It Takes Two, is such an awesome track, and their version of Joy & Pain isnt bad either, though the original by Maze & Frankie Beverly is far superior.
