  1. If Adele and Ed Sheeran do a duet it will be Huge.
  2. Garrett is actually credited on the reverse side of the record sleeve but not on the front for some reason.
  3. S express no.66 with 66 points! They almost got my vote, though I disliked it when it came out.

Hopefully the more modern Xmas songs will increase in popularity as the years go on...
  5. Abba, Queen, Fleetwood Mac, Elton John, Bob Marley, Michael Jackson & The Beatles all doing well in 1971....I mean 2021.
  6. Firework sounds like Kerry Katona
  7. I bought those three albums as well, Marchin Already is my favourite. One From The Modern was much weaker compared to the previous two albums imo.
  8. If he trys again next year I think there may be a social media campaign to prevent him getting the xmas no.1!
  9. Second from bottom but Still have 9 of my top 10 songs left so it's all good!
  10. Xmas TOTP 2002 BBC 4 7pm tonight.

6 according to wiki because the writers of No Scrubs are credited as well which it borrows from.
  12. I'm the only one who voted for Odyssey. :o Great disco song never get tired of hearing it. I bought Bros's first two singles, still like When Will I Be Famous now. Their song Too Much passed me by at the time but hearing it again on the TOTP re-runs it's quite good.

It's an odd rule how a contestant who has won the public vote say five times only wins 50k (or even nothing), but someone can win only once tonight they can walk away with 500k??
  14. Fern Kinney very nearly got my vote as it is a nice song.
  15. Darlene Love had previously charted in the 60's as part of The Crystals. The Jingle Belles only hit in 1983 was Xmas spectre
  16. Ouch! Some of those songs don't deserve zero points, namely Woman,Start & Being With You😂
  17. The National anthem - God Save The Queen? (not the Sex Pistols song)
  18. Did a Google search and according to this site https://www.joe.ie/music/the-50-most-iconic...revealed-513205 It's Smells Like Teen Spirit

The trend for medleys in the early 80s was similar. In the wake of the success of Starsound in 1981 there were a loads of medley records in the charts that year but by 1982 they were nowhere. Of course Jive Bunny revived the craze in 1989 but it wasn't anywhere near as big.

What about Thunderbirds are go by FAB from 1990?
  21. I still find it hard to believe that Andrew Lloyd Webber was behind the Tetris hit!
  22. I agree. I'd never seen the whole video before but the end seemed rather pointless. They should have continued on the scenes between the boy and his father, maybe showing the father coming back home. At first I thought the actor who plays Mcaulay Culkins father was John Candy, but it's actually George Wendt from Cheers .
  23. All the 90s Halloween no.1s are good except Barbie Girl.

It seems to be all old Xmas songs getting the No1 Mariah Carey then Wham. Wouldn't be surprised if it were the Pogues this year.
  25. My favourites are Jagged Little Pill, Simply The Best & Missunderstood
