Adele's Personal Chart - W/E 1 July 2022
It's 2 lives in my chart this week, as Ed Sheeran stays at the top for a 2nd week and James Bay moves up to #2 with their respective One Life songs. Harry's at #3 with Late Night Talking and Dermot at #4 with Something To Someone. Sam Fender rises to #5 with Getting Started, his 2nd top 5 hit here. Halsey rises to #6 with So Good, I think it is! Beyonce gets the week's highest new entry in at #10 with Break My Soul, far better than anything from her last 2 albums in my opinion. Emeli Sande debuts at #25 with her latest track Ready To Love, her 9th top 30 hit here. The wonderful Simple Minds are back with Vision Thing in at #30 this week. The other of this week's 6 new entries are from Imagine Dragons, Jack Johnson and Drake ... yes Drake has made a decent song this time! Adele's Personal Chart - W/E 24 June 2022
We have a new number one as Ed Sheeran climbs 2 more places to claim his 7th chart topper here with One Life, a new track from the tour edition of =. Dermot drops a place after 3 weeks on top, and Harry slips to #3. James Bay's song called One Life joins Ed in the top 5, moving up 8 to #4. Cate's Brother is still at #5 for Masie Peters (saw her supporting Ed a few days ago). Sam Fender climbs into the top 10 with Getting Started at #10, whilst Halsey, Diana Ross, Rina Sawayama and Bastille all climb into my top 20. Highest of just 3 new entries is Joji's Glimpse Of Us in at #28, 1 ahead of UB40 (Ali Campbell's version) with new track We'll Never Find Another Love. Thanks for your replies. I think As It Was is probably my 2nd favourite Harry Styles song now, behind Sign Of The Times. I'm a big fan of Florence, I do think My Love is her best of this era so far but Free's good too. It's rare for songs to last much beyond 10 weeks on my chart (Adele and Ella Henderson aside) so more of a natural decline for these songs. Still love both songs, amongst my favourites of the year so far. Loving Ella's album, this collaboration is very good too.

Adele's Personal Chart - W/E 8 April 2022
Tom Grennan claims his 5th chart topper on this chart with the brilliant Remind Me, just ahead of the excellent Harry Styles comeback song As It Was. That means Mimi Webb drops to #3 but she'll set your house on fire. James Bay wants to know the reason for his climb to #4, well it's a great song! Sigrid is still in the dark at #5. Imagine Dragons Bones and the Vaccines Thunder Fever both rise into the top 10, with Christina Perri not far behind at #12 with Evergone. C'mon you know what the next highest new entry is, it's the title track to Liam Gallagher's forthcoming album in at #14. Blossoms debut at #20 with their new single The Sulking Poet, and Emeli Sande's latest track enters at #33 but she thinks there isn't much (I beg to differ on that). JSG'S Top 40 • #02 • 03/03/22
Hi JSG, great chart. Good to see Tate McRae at #1 and a good high debut for both Fingers Crossed and House On Fire. Great to see Brave enter too, hope it gets to your top 10, same for Where Are You Now. Nice to see a 30 week run for Electric and an interesting run for Bad Habits.

Adele's Personal Chart - W/E 11 Mar 2022
Thanks both for your comments. House On Fire is probably my favourite Mimi Webb song now. Didn't like Fifth Harmony much and didn't care much for Camila's first few solo songs either (Havana aside), but I've enjoyed her last few. Becky's a bit hit and miss for me, Run is good but I've not heard Here For You yet. I've not liked much of Tate McRae's previous songs, You Broke Me First was ok I guess, but I'm liking this one more.

Adele's Personal Chart - W/E 11 Mar 2022
After just a week at the top Liam Gallagher's power goes down as he slips to #2, replaced by Red Hot Chili Peppers with their Black Summer. Train climb to #3 with AM Gold, James Blunt stays at #4 with Adrenaline and Mimi Webb sets the top 5 on fire. Bryan Adams gets the week's highest new entry at #10 as he predicts no rain. Em Beihold's Numb Little Bug advances into the top 10 at #9, with Silk Sonic, Dove Cameron and Tate McRae not far behind. Hudson Taylor enter at #19 with their new track You Me Myself, getting a 12th hit on my chart. Camila & Ed go bam bam in at #26 and Coldplay's new duet with Selena Gomez Let Somebody Go debuts at #27. Belle & Sebastian return at #33 creating unnecessary drama. Vaccines and Becky Hill have the other 2 of this week's new entries, in at #38 and #39 respectively.
