I’d love to be sad enough to have the energy to go through the Ed posts when the song came out but I’m not. Shows how out of touch and odd this forum is! Last last thankfully for you all, some decent ones on here so it’s a shame but it’s all a bit odd. A chart forum where people slate artists that want to do well in the chart and also one whereby people don’t understand how charts work. A few of the good ones don’t message because of the one sided arguments. Take care all

Anyone that takes pitchfork serious need their head testing, people only like it when it suits their narrative of an artist. 2021 is a funny time, Lewis Hamilton is British and will be the most successful driver of all time yet is hated and constantly slated, our own national football team gets abuse from our own fans constantly, some even want us to fail. Being successful leads to jealousy, hatred and odd behaviour. Who on earth is innovative and successful these days? The current sweetheart of music Olivia is far from original (Paramore etc) however no one cares, they enjoy the music! Sadly a sign of our times and Ed could release anything and be slated so he may as well at least be on trend and get a hit!

Think it’s going to build momentum, I wasn’t keen on 1st listen but not the chorus won’t escape my head. The beat that kicks in is so good. Think it’s his best song since his 1st album to me.

I think the opposite, have the feeling if the song is good that it will me huge. Not sure how I feel about Ed anymore, used to be a fan. Hoping it’s a great song.

I don’t get the lack of Lorde’s commercial success? She is so unique and bloody amazing! To hear her debut charted behind a Nickleback album makes me realise what a joke the public can be with music at times :D Wonder if her album will do well on the first week this time?

Lorde has made my year, so happy she is back! Why is James Arthur trying to sound like Roman Keating? Not a bad song though.

Ardee lives down the road from me and although he does definitely not live in a council estate or a rough area like he raps about, I think his music is quality
