Apologies if my views have come across poorly but I just think we are too easily offended. I will admit that I did not read the thread and seeing as how the word has affected some I can see how people feel.

Each to their own though, maybe I'm just slightly older. I have a different viewpoint! Some of the stuff I've heard people get offended about this year has been pathetic and that doesn't help how I see things. We are going to ban everything soon!

Homophobic language is never okay but please use common sense, this song was sang in the 80s!! Snowflake generation, people are so different now. Why get offended??

Snowflake generation, it's hideous. My kids will not be bought uo offended by every bloody thing..... My football club has had people saying the cheerleaders should be banned because it's degrading to women. Great idea, let's put people out of a job and stop them from enjoying what they like because some snowflake is offended...

Used to dislike James Arthur but he's proved himself and deserves credit! Great live too. The Dalton song actually works and does enough not to sound too much like the original. Have not watched much X-Factor this year but they are doing something right.
