Dd playing that in a public space as a DJ without knowing if it’ll be officially released is a bit of a choice…

I’m a bit worried… I just hope we get this album at some point in the near future…

It’s a very solid banger. What I worry about it that it really only explodes in the last chorus, so some people may be underwhelmed after all the hyping pre release. There are already comments in that sense.

At the same time, having no new release or announcement to benefit from the BRITs performance buzz is INSANITY.

I honestly just want her and her team to move forward with FUFN and the album announcement.

I’m thinking the label will push FUFN there. I know it depends on Spotify too but I feel like they believe in that song for somw reason.

I don’t think that’s completely out of the question to be honest. Even if it doesn’t see chart success. Times are different now and she’s already been through a pushback. Label has probably leveled expectations now.

I honestly want her to announce it a week prior to the release. There’s no need for more than 1 week of teasing in 2025. That worked much better for IT girl than the endless Fantasy teasing.

I’m sorry but how changing its status will make it soar into the Top 40? It won’t… They should go on with the plan and release FUFN/the album.

Maybe if the artwork is textless it can still work? Seems to be a trend nowadays.

I don't think she's throwing everything at the wall to see what sticks, she's being consisten with the frequency of her releases and with each new release she captures new fans. I've seen that myself with my friends. Some who didn't enjoy Angel loved Fantasy. There are some whose favourite is MC and one of my best friends messaged me over the weekend saying that with IT girl she won him over. She's virtually a new artist so people who didn't follow Little Mix might follow her. Besides, if she had released the album already, I'm sure we would be getting a lot less material, so I'm not complaining. When the album's released, all these people will be curious to listen to it. Besides, I don't expect her to be a hitmaker anyway.

I think this is by far her most divisive song thus far. Good side is people who loved it, really did.

I don’t agree with that. She does need to build a fanbase and she is doing so, a lot of people who didn’t care for Little Mix are tuning in for her and with the kind of niche pop artists she wants to be, this is important. Had she released the album after Angel of my Dreams, we probably would’ve only had 2 singles for the era.

Fantasy was even higher there if I’m not mistaken so we’ll see! I’d love for this to chart on Spotify even if it’s at #190. It’d be a nice bounce back for her.
