The overreaction... as usual. Fantastic performance. The Woman Like Me one was horrible.

Sweet Melody • 3rd Single
Oh I thought it was going to drop from the Top 10!

Sweet Melody • 3rd Single
I think it's way more down to them being a girlgroup than a pop group...

Sweet Melody • 3rd Single
To sell the album you need an outright POP song or a ballad. Considering the ballad they have here is the worst song on the album and the poppiest song they have is the second best song on the album, it’s a no brainer, to be honest. Sweet Melody might just be the best thing they’ve ever done, but like Woman Like Me, it wouldn’t make people think “Oh, the album must be good” ‘cause it just sounds like a girlgroup single with not much background context (and its performance would either be a modified version or the sassy sexy ones they’ve been doing which... won’t get the general public interested in the album. Not to mention Sweet Melody is already smashing so for them to perform another great song from the same album would make people think “Oh so that’s already two songs I love from this one, I might check it out”. Break Up Song’s the perfect choice, the 80’s sound is just the cherry on the top. I just hope they don’t ruin it somehow with a different instrumental. I’d love to hear it with a band.

Nathan Dawe & Little Mix • No Time For Tears
This is 15 on Shazam UK. Pretty high, isn’t it?

Nathan Dawe & Little Mix • No Time For Tears
Nathan’s last single was released in July so it makes sense that his label wanted him to get a new one out already...

Nathan Dawe & Little Mix • No Time For Tears
It’s not a step in any direction for them as artists lol, it’s just a feature...
-
Nathan Dawe & Little Mix • No Time For Tears
They just had a feeling that the sound is commercial enough for it to be a #1 contender going by the chorus... it’s nothing that absurd?
-
Nathan Dawe & Little Mix • No Time For Tears
Sweet Melody was a pop song though. Songs like NTFT usually don’t need videos to smash.

Nathan Dawe & Little Mix • No Time For Tears
Did Lighter make any noise whatsoever outside of the UK?

A little late to the party, but my takeaway from the JR show
They did really well on their own... Jesy’s missed, obviously, but they did well.

Sales • Part 2
Where did Confetti the song chart?
-
Sweet Melody • 3rd Single
The single’s already smashing without much effort so I doubt they’ll put in much more, especially without Jesy. Jonathan Ross is probably the last we’ll see of them this year.
