That’s not what I said..... Just stated that it probably wasn’t the label’s decision, but the girls themselves, so it’s their taste you should blame, not an alleged label panic.

I think it’s a bit naive to say this sound is due to the label panicking especially since it was a song Jade and Leigh did in July of 2019, pretty sure this is just the sound they went for with this track.

Cardi was the one that brought them into that mess when she claimed publicly that the girls had Nicki as a second option. Had they said nothing this is what would’ve stuck in people’s minds after years of begging for a Nicki verse. Saying as if it invalidates everything they said and the album’s about is not it.

They did but her website has just been updated and one of the code reads as a layout for the new album awaiting to be activated, this was yesterday if I'm not mistaken.

I'm being optimistic regarding their sales until I see some promo organised for release week. Tbh as long as they open with solid sales I'll be glad as I'm a Kylie fan as well. Let's just hope Adele doesn't also surprise release that Friday!

Ooh, that's odd. I thought we all expected to get either Confetti or Sweet Melody. We don't even know which one is Track 6 yet. Do you have a screenshot of it?

I honestly don’t doubt this for a second, lol. Especially if the no promotion rule works that way so they can perform songs, just not new ones.

In before they release Sweet Melody from 23rd October on. So they were rehearsing for the liveshows when they recorded the last podcast and the interviewe mentions a piano in the background but is it really one? It could be the instrumental to Sweet Melody. @1313610565785444361 Just can’t imagine them performing with a piano for the first liveshow...

It’s a tad frustrating seeing them waste various days that, if properly hyped, could inflate their preorders.
