Hoping Capital FM plays Fantasy properly... Seems like the type of song with wich Radio 2 might be on board too.

I’m more worried about the video shoot ending on October 9th than the physicals…

It’s better and the chorus is catchy but it’s got such a weird structure.

Her team has been killing it so I wouldn't put it past them to nab a slot.

She said she had 3 music video shoots coming bur so far she’d only shot Showbiz and Midnight. Fantasy will be the third.

I’m pretty sure that if she’d gone solo 10 years ago the label would spoonfeed her the right material as opposed to now.

I actually think it’s in order to make it clear that it’s a promo track rather than the official single.

These are all demos that leaked a while ago. None of them made it to the album.

It begins with her singing in her head voice slow verses like Naughty Girl, then she proceeds to sing-talk c*nty verses about being a bad b*tch, Anna Wintour etc in a more accelerated pace and then the chorus is a quick sexy hook. There are moments of clapping too and a voice dictating some things (demanding more claps etc). It’s Renaissance-esque, but if I rate Angel a 9,5, I’d rate this one a 7/7,5. It’s a solid album track, which in all honest I’m pleased with so that there isn’t a risk that people think this should be the single instead of something else and the better ones are saved for the album release. I’m sure the visuals will help sell it though, it isn’t weak by any means, but lyric wise it’s a serve and there’s a lot of metaphors with which she could work. I read someone on ATRL say it’s their least favourite track on the album but if this is it, then the album must be sounding great.

I heard this one at the club in Brazil and it shouldn’t be a single so I’m glad it’s being labeled that way… It’s good but a good album track.

Honestly the group did promo singles before the actual single a couple of times before… Don’t see a big harm in keeping the momentum while things for the bigger campaign are being set…

Hmm… Release date October 18th. I wonder if that’s suggestive of the second single’s release date.

And then when physicals are out next Friday they immediately move on to the two promo singles and official second one.

I think also in her case she doesn’t even have a back catalogue so having a couple songs there before the album’s out will be good to extend her reach in playlists, listeners etc. Leigh has more listeners than Perrie now due to the EP. These songs also probably won’t even be sent to radio.

It’s not the second single. Midnight Cowboy and That’s Showbiz Baby will both be promotional singles before the second single is released and pushed near/on November.

It seems like F*** You For Now isn’t the second single, considering the lyrics she teased. “No, this is from a different song produced by Mike Sabath! It's a huge sexy bop, to me it's a blend of Carly Rae Jepsen and Magdalena Bay. I prefer FUFN but this is a great choice too”
