Two people I know apparently listened to the track. First one said “it sounds like 4 songs in one but it’s cool, the chorus doesnt explode though” and the second said “she ate” and added that “it really is an unconventional song where she plays a lot with melodies and structures, the voice is indeed angelic and there isn’t a big pop chorus moment, everything is very delicate and contrasting with the instrumental and the drop is delicious”. The latter claims that she’s delivering a single filled with personality, which seems to be her goal from interviews.

From people who’ve heard it already, it doesn’t seem to be commercial. Seems to be oddly structured and “messy” (not in a bad way). Guess she wants to start with a bang to grab peoples attention and play it safer with the second single which seems to be the obvious hit.
