please you guys should stop speaking about what you dont know. the skepta song is labelled as a skit but its not, its a song with skepta verses and a chorus. this so called skit was actually the song of the day on a beats one show yesterday. i and a lot of people are listening to it and enjoying the track

I hope you guys realize drake does not give a shit if this record is number one for the 16th week. All the moves to keep it number one has been done by Republic Records. This guy is breaking records every week and is on a sold out tour and tearing arenas up - just had one of the craziest shows last night in Chicago bringing out Kanye. If he cared that much, he would have released the video to maybe give it a chance at staying number one or he would have come over to London to do TV and Talk shows. I dont think he really cares at all - UK market is a small spec in what that boy is achieving globally. Anyway he has done 15 weeks - thats long enough - move on.

Once again its all about demographics - for some One Dance will be remembered for years to come. I have not heard Bryan Adams everything I do in the last decade. Why? because it is just never played in any scene i go to. Regardless it is a fantastic song and i still give it props. Jay Z and Kanye songs are forgotten? Once again that's an inaccurate statement - they may be forgotten in your world - Even JAY Zs first album (Reasonable Doubt) from the 90s is played heavily in some circles. Dont even get me started on Kanye - his songs from the late 2000s are still in heavy rotation. I for one am just happy that I can appreciate music from all genres.

This song is number one in like 13 countries round the world and breaking records in America, New Zealand and Australia to mention a few. One Dance is one of the best singles released in a very long time and most of the world agree. Get in there drizzy - 15 weeks record will be broken next week and then we going for the record. Dont bother guys. If Drake is not kicked out from number one spot this week then he is going to have it for at least another 2 weeks. Reasons: 1) The One Dance Video is meant to drop sometime this week or next. 2) It is rumoured he will be making guest appearances at a few people's set this weekend in the Wireless Festival in Finsbury Park - Future, Boy Better Know (Skeptas) and possibly J Cole. I can bet you everybody in that stadium will be streaming more of his songs after the weekend

Actually its not doing that well in America. It debuted with a video and much fanfare but is below For Free in the charts. Its also tanked massively in the Itunes chart in just a couple of days.

Trust me 100% we are getting a One Dance video. If it was still that 1st video he filmed in May then I would agree with you. But he was in South Africa last week with the whole Apple team filming a second video for One Dance in Soweto. There is no way he would have flown there to record a second video and not release it. Unless it was the controlla video being filmed and they are purposely trying to mislead the public. :thinking: :thinking: :thinking: :thinking: Saying that all the pics i saw from fans in south africa who got onto the video set said it was for one dance.

Oh yeah and I forgot to mention during my last post re the video topic and its non availability on Youtube. Here is one of the reasons why we have not seen a video for One Dance - The first video for one dance was filmed if i remember correctly, either in the 1st or 2nd week of May. From the shots of the video – it was the typical hiphop, party vibes, girls dancing on a yacht etc. Now that video we know has been most likely scrapped because the shots from a new video shoot was circulated last week. I think they realise that was not the best way to go for the video due to the global phenomenon the song has become. Drake flew to Soweto in South Africa last week to film a new video with Material Culture who are like the biggest dance crew in South Africa. This new video seems more globally appealing and is also being sponsored by Apple the way hotline bling was. Saying all that, the video will most likely be on Youtube in about 2 weeks or so due to post-production and editing. Apparently he has filmed like 3 videos for his album as well some cameos for some other artists videos and they will be released in July/August while he will be on tour with Future. But gooddelta does have a point re the youtube factor – there probably is some strategy behind the video not coming out sooner. You have to understand that Drake and his team have always been very smart and now being the poster boy for Apple – he is now directly being backed by Jimmy Iovine – who is probably in the top 3 list of the smartest/influential people in the music industry period. He personally cultivated Drake and stopped him from signing with Tidal by giving him the apple deal (and yes a very nice cheque of $19M – ooooooh yeah). It is all linked to the streaming wars that are currently taking place at the moment. Very interesting times in the music industry.

Everybody complaining about one dance - dont worry - drake will soon overtake himself with Too Good. And I think it depends on your demographic because "One dance" is the most played song everywhere I go. Its is by far the most popular track Globally right now. In the USA, Australia, South America, South Africa, Nigeria and over here in the UK. I cannot go down the road without hearing a car pass me blasting that song. Also at night clubs and bars - Girls go absolutely mental on the dance floor when that song comes on. As i said, its all about perspective - it might not be a popular song in some peoples world but it is in others.

Funnily enough he actually filmed the video for one dance like 1.5 months ago. Maybe he is no longer going to release it with the success of the song. He is also rumoured to have filmed the video for Too Good and Controlla so looks like those are the next two singles he will be pushing. He starts his Summer 16 sold out tour in about 1 month so i think he will be releasing the videos in July. New videos and the touring especially will mean more streaming.

One Dance is actually increasing in streams - on spotify anyway. Looked at the charts and its numbers are now back to over 500k streams a day as of yesterday. Simply amazing. I love the song so not mad at it. Babyyyyyyyyyy, I like your styleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
