  9. Anyone here likes the video of "A&E"? Alison looks at her best on this video IMO... http://img84.imageshack.us/img84/3209/goldfrappvf4.jpg

Lick the Pavament Stupid Girl or Temptation Waits
  11. The album is brilliant (sublime sometimes). It took me just 4 listens to be hooked. "Seventh Tree" is very folky and subtle but there are some radio-friendly songs like "Little Bird", "Happiness", "Caravan Girl", "Cologne Cerrone Houdini" or "A&E" of course. Some may say it lacks the beats from Supernature/Black Cherry but Goldfrapp warned us: it is different. Any fan of Felt Mountain will appreciate this album the rest will/could be slightly disappointed. Conclusion: definitelly one of the best of 2008! ^_^ PS the producer of Seventh Tree is Flood
  12. I forgot about Feist!! Her album "The Reminder" is wonderful! Also I should give a try to latest albums of Siouxsie and Tracy Thorn (because I like their previous work)
  13. try FSOL - Dead Cities :P

  16. Surprises: (random order) Radiohead - In Rainbows - amazing new album by this unique band. It grows on you with each listen. Also nice promotion... Kosheen - Damage - too bad it's quite ignored even it's one of the best of 2007 Garbage - Absolute Garbage - a nice return of my fave band with this greatest hits. Also includes the single Tell Me Where It Hurts; it wasn't a very successful single (just #50 UK) and quite different by other songs of Garbage but still amazing. The DVD with almost all their clips and a long documentary of band's career worths every cent. It was #1 on Amazon Top 100 Music DVDs Underworld - Oblivion With Bells - definitelly better than their previous album. Highlights: "Crocodile" and "Beautiful Burnout" KT Tunstall - Drastic Fantastic - I love it The Arcade Fire - Neon Bible - great follow up to "Funeral" Jean Michel Jarre - Teo & Tea - unusual album for Jarre: techno beats and catchy melodies but still something is missing. Maybe next time we'll have something as good as "Oxygene," "Equinoxe" and "Chronologie" Sophie Ellis-Bextor - Trip the Light Fantastic - very good from start to finish Suzanne Vega - Beauty & Crime - wonderful! Dave Gahan - Hourglass - better than Paper Monsters Dolores O'Riordan - Are You Listening? - the ex-Cranberries' singer did a great job with this album. Maybe too Cranberries-style: I expected a different sound Dissapointments: Too many bad songs/albums to mention... Smashing Pumpkins could be on the list Linkin Park: what you've done? ;) As for 2008 it seems that Goldfrapp's new album will be a great come back. Looking forward to Shirley Manson's debut album, the follow-up to "Finally Woken" by Jem, Ladytron's next album, Dido's long awaited album, Elizabeth Fraser's debut album More: Portishead, My Bloody Valentine, Massive Attack, Depeche Mode, U2, Royksopp Interested by any new real talent like Duffy, Kate Havnevik
  17. I think their new single "A&E" will not be a commercial success even it's by far one of the best songs I heard for a while... Anyway Alison & Will know very well how to make an amazing album ^_^ Indeed Kylie ripped off Goldfrapp - Strict Machine  I wondered why 2 Hearts sounds quite familiar to me even it's a new song PS Alison also featured on the following songs: Orbital - Are We Here? Orbital - Nothing Left (1) Orbital - Nothing Left (2) Tricky - Pumpkin worth a listen!

  19. There a radio station on my country Guerilla Radio: they often play some Garbage songs like Milk, OHWIR, TWINE, SG, TMWIH... I made a snapshot some days ago of their site when they played Milk: http://img99.imageshack.us/img99/5241/garbagemilkcopyvv7.th.jpg Cool, isn't? B)

some "hidden" places on internet... :P it took me around 5-6 months anyway the live pics are the most Because I'm a damn perfectionist, I improved the site over and over. I even changed the design twice: now it looks exactly I wanted to be. You'll be surprised; that's all I can say... Now I think it's almost complete (and yes you'll see on my site all Garbage/Shirley/Duke/Butch/Steve pics - almost 400MB) I want to be the best Garbage site ever seen... ;) To organize so many pics on categories (and thumbnails), to have all Garbage lyrics, to have an extended discography isn't an easy business. So: like someone said it's done when it's done
