Following on from a few flops, ArrDee is releasing his most commercial sounding song yet featuring rising pop star Cat Burns called "For My Heart". From the teasers on TikTok, it sounds really good I must say and potential to be his best song so far.

I don't mind this at all but it kinda sounds like a Joel Corry rip-off.

All the information that I have included has come from the BBC Radio 1 Last.fm page which is avaliable online. The infomation takes all tracks played during the daytime period and nighttime periods and as well as songs played on simulcasts of 1Xtra shows and any repeat shows that were broadcast. As always there may be some missing or incorrect data as some plays may have not been recorded due to failures with the scrobles but the data below will give a mostly clear idea as to which tracks was played the most in 2022. Some songs scrobles are combined and don't reflect the original figures on Last.fm but are used to get a more accurate representation of how many times a song is played, I have listed where I combined figures and these combined figures include versions of a song that went down as a seperate track that wasn't supposed to, variations of song that are similar and any live performances that were played out of a song. Combined figures don't include dance remixes unless they were used as an official version that was pushed. Also inlcuded is the most played songs for each month, the most played artists of 2022 and them by month. A few statistics before we begin, this year, there were a total of 133,495 plays of songs this year which is slightly above the 133,129 of 2021. Wonder if they may be a chance of lower numbers tomorrow as lots of users currently reporting Spotify being down? EDIT: The problem appears to be affecting Apple devices and it's happening because of an SDK update that seems to crash multiple apps on Apple and IOS devices.

They released a "Single Version" of All I Want To Hear You Say. Since the orginal was released in 2018, I'm guessing they are going to re-push this soon.

Radio 1 failed to record down the songs played during their 2019 Anthems show yesterday so I have added a play to those which did get played but did not get recoreded down) but the data below will give a mostly clear idea as to which tracks was played the most in 2019. Also inlcuded is the most played songs for each month. NOTE: I have combined some tracks with mutiple versions, as you can see below. The reason I did this was because both versions of the tracks recieved regular spot plays and are basically the same song anyway (I.e. Combined both the amount of plays Taylor Swift - Lover and the remix featuring Shawn Mendes was played) so I decided it would be best to combine anyway.
