  1. 4 days at #1 :o What's the longest lasting #1 so far, anyway? And looks like Higher has gotten 5/10! Only half to go! Keep it up!
  2. Wow, three days for Starboy! Not bad! And is Higher gonna hit every spot on your charts? That'd be pretty funny actually :P Keep it up!
  3. @Jason: I was also expecting something maybe a bit more upbeat, but it works well enough for me. As for Somewhere In Between being old? Yep. It's like 16 years old. But I've had much older songs do even better. :P @Riser: It's worn out on me a bit in past days, but it's still good! September 24th "How Long" by Lifehouse rises to the Top, grabbing a 2nd consecutive day at #1 for Lifehouse! This is the first time two artists have gotten back-to-back hits on the JeffCharts! However, Lifehouse doesn't manage to nab a 2nd day of locking up the Top 2, as "2Shy" by Shura has a hotshot debut at #2! "Somewhere in Between", yesterday's #1, falls 1-3. "Sunshine on My Shoulders" and "Gentle Descent" both hold #4 and #5 respectively. "Starboy" falls 3-6, "Here Comes a Thought" drops 6-7, "Speed of Sound" rises 10-8, "Shelter" falls 7-9, and "Sea of Voices" falls 8-10. Outside the Top 10, Jean Leloup debuts "1990" at #20. September 25th "2Shy" by Shura rises 2-1! This brings down Lifehouse's "How Long" to #2. "Sunshine on My Shoulders" rebounds 4-3, as does Starboy at 6-4. "Somewhere In Between" is knocked back 3-5 by the aforementioned gains. "1990" roars into the Top 10, moving 20-6. Dexys Midnight Runners debut "Jackie Wilson Said (I'm In Heaven When You Smile)" at #7, their first hit on the JeffCharts! "Gentle" Descent" falls 5-8, "Speed of Sound" falls 8-9, and "Sea of Voices" holds #10. Outside the Top 10, "Your Type" returns after being knocked out yesterday, and "Take Care" by Drake ft. Rihanna debuts at #20. Stay tuned for future updates!
  4. Perfect Illusion! Flopped hard on my charts though; I blame the overcrowdedness of my charts this month :P Somebody Else was also another kind-of-flop there. Good to see it had a decent peak on your chart, more so than on mine anyway! I wasn't able to get into the 21p cover of Cancer. It kind of lacks the raw emotion of the original... :/ Tilted dropping out after 3 weeks only is heresy. xD Keep it up!
  5. Woo for Years & Years, Bastille and Perfect Illusion! :D Sad the latter isn't doing too well though. xP Keep it up! :D
  6. Tilted for four weeks! That's awesome! Glad to see Perfect Illusion doing well on not-mine charts! :D Also woo for Ex's & Oh's still hanging on! Keep it up!
  7. Woo, Starboy and Higher! :D Great songs that have been/will be snubbed on my charts because of juggernauts above them ._. Store is a nice song to see in here though! Keep it up!
  8. @Riser: "Everything" is definitely the song of 2016 at this rate. :P And as for "am I familiar with other Lifehouse songs"... ;D September 22nd "Gentle Descent" jumps 2-1, making Dan Gibson's Solitudes one of few artists to topple their own song off the top. The last artist to have pulled this off was Shirock, with "Everything Burns" and "Say It Out" back in May this year. "Sunshine on My Shoulders" falls 1-2, keeping the Top 2 locked up by songs from DGS. "Here Comes a Thought" rises 8-3, while The Weeknd and Daft Punk's new song, "Starboy", debuts at a respectable #4. "Sea of Voices" falls 4-5, "Shelter" holds #6, "Shake That" holds #7, "Speed of Sound" falls 3-8, Untouched falls 5-9 and "Everything" holds at #10. Speaking of Lifehouse, a new song from No Name Face appears at #16: "Somewhere in Between". September 23rd Not content with having what is slated to be the top song of 2016, Lifehouse lock down the Top 2 with "Somewhere in Between" rocketing 16-1 and new debut "How Long" shooting in at #2. The only song to not take a fall from these two happenings is "Starboy", which flies up 4-3. Everything else falls: "Sunshine on My Shoulders" 2-4, "Gentle Descent" 1-5, "Here Comes a Thought" 3-6, "Shelter" 6-7, "Sea of Voices 5-8, "Shake That" 7-9, and "Speed of Sound" 8-10. Stay tuned for more! -JeffRayGun
  9. @HarryEzra: Coldplay have been doing pretty well so far in the past month or so. This is their second #1 debut in a row, so that's quite something! September 20th "Speed of Sound" spends a 3rd day at #1, while "Sea of Voices" holds #2 again. "Untouched" rebounds 4-3, "Shelter" moves up 5-4, "Shake That" falls 3-5, "Need You Now" holds #6, "Everything" moves 8-7, "Tassez-vous de d'la" moves up 9-8, "Dehors novembre" falls 7-9, and "Kiss It Better re-enters the Top 10, moving 12-10. Outside the Top 10, "Gentle Descent" debuts at #16. September 21st Dan Gibson's Solitudes has a #1 debut with their cover of John Denver's "Sunshine on My Shoulders". This marks their 3rd #1 and now 4th Top 5 song, as "Gentle Descent" roars 16-2. The rest of the Top 10 is mainly shoved back by these two events: Speed of Sound falls 1-3, Sea of Voices 2-4, Untouched 3-5, Shelter 4-6, and Shake That 5-7. Estelle and AJ Michalka's "Here Comes a Thought" re-enters at #8, which pushes "Need You Now" 6-9 and "Everything" 7-10. Stay tuned for more! -JeffRayGun
  10. @PeteFromLeeds: Yeah, it's quite interesting! I like both artists so this was bound to do well :P September 19th "Speed of Sound" holds #1 as "Sea of Voices" roars 20-2. "Shake That" rebounds 6-3, returning to its peak. "Untouched" rebounds 5-4, while "Shelter" vaults 19-5. "Need You Now" falls 3-6, "Dehors novembre" dropped 2-7, "Everything" dipped 4-8. "Tassez-vous de d'la" holds at #9, while "Your Type" returns to the Top 10, 15-10. Stay tuned for the next update! -JeffRayGun
  11. @HarryEzra: Untouched is really catchy, though it really took me by surprise more than anything xD I wanted "Need You Now" to have more days at #1 but The Veronicas had other plans :P Yeah, that cover is surprisingly great! Christine and the Queens is awesome. :D September 18th Coldplay nabs a 2nd #1 debut with "Speed of Sound"! "Dehors novembre" has a huge resurgence as it vaults 11-2. "Need You Now" holds #3, while "Everything" rebounds 7-4. Untouched falls 1-5 after 2 days at #1. "Shake That" drops 4-6, "Hand Cannot Erase" falls 2-7. "Part of Your World holds #8, "Tassez-vous de d'la" falls 5-9, while Coldplay moves back into the Top 10 as it rebounds 17-10. Below the Top 10, Porter Robinson debuts his collab with Madeon, "Shelter", at #19, and "Sea of Voices" from Worlds at #20! Stay tuned for the next update! -JeffRayGun
  12. Whoa whoa whoa, Porter Robinson and Madeon collaborated? That I need to see! Nice to see Emeli Sande in there too :) Keep it up!
  13. @JSG: "Need You Now" was and still is quite an impactful song for me. I first really got into it back in 2013, and the fact that it's topping the charts in 2016 shows that it matters just as much to me now as it did back then. Also yeah, Carly is shaping up to be one of the big newcomer artists of 2016 on my charts, especially with the surge of songs from her in the past month :P I haven't updated in a bit... so here's Sept. 15 and 16! There is no chart for Sept 17th, so stay tuned for the 18th's chart tomorrow! September 15th New #1 from 2008: "Untouched" by The Veronicas debuts at #1. "Hand Cannot Erase" holds strong at #2, while the "Sorry" cover from Christine and the Queens rises 4-3. "Shake That" drops 3-4, "Need You Now" falls from the top 1-5, "Tassez-vous de d'la" jumps 8-6. Carly Rae Jepsen debuts a Little Mermaid cover with "Part of Your World" at #7. FutureSex/LoveSound falls 6-8, "Everything" by Lifehouse drops 5-9, while Steven Wilson sends a 2nd song to the Top 10, "Happy Returns / Ascendent Here On..." which jumps 15-10 off its debut yesterday. Meanwhile, "Sing" by Travis returns to the Top 20 at #18. September 16th "Untouched" holds #1 and "Hand Cannot Erase" holds #2. "Need You Now" flies back 5-3, "Shake That" holds #4. "Tassez-vous de d'la" rises back into the Top 5 6-5. Christine and the Queen's "Sorry" cover drops 3 spots 3-6, while "Everything" by Lifehouse rebounds 9-7. "Part of Your World" falls 7-8 off its debut yesterday. "Happy Returns / Ascendent..." rises one spot 10-9, while "FutureSex/LoveSound" falls 8-10. Outside the Top 10, "Kiss It Better", "Your Type" and "Closer rise 1, 2 and 3 spots respectively, and "Every Teardrop..." and "Run Away With Me" rise two spots both. See you tomorrow for the next update! -JeffRayGun
  14. Hooray! I'm glad to see this gaining traction! As Kurt said, it's still in beta, so there's some kinks to be worked out still. That said, he's been working hard to add new features to the site. In fact, the "last week changes" feature was added very recently! I'll try to follow some of the peeps from here! If you want to see my daily updates, you can follow me as well! I have the same username as I do here. EDIT: I see some people are leaving duplicate charts... You can delete them from the edit section, actually :P
  15. Okay... I'm gonna start linking to my CrownNote page instead. Uploading the images is still too tedious. I'm so lazy xD September 14th 2016 Need You Now holds #1, as "Hand Cannot Erase" vaults 11-2. "Shake That" holds #3, while "Sorry" moves up one spot 5-4 off its debut yesterday. "Everything" by Lifehouse drops 2-5, while "FutureSex/LoveSound" rebounts 7-6. "Dehors novembre" falls 4-7, while "Tassez-vous de d'la" drops 6-8. 16. @Jade: Perfect Illusion grew on me a fair amount. However, it's so overshadowed by everything else that it just gets pushed down. :( Like Toy Soldiers is definitely growing on me, too, and looks like it might have more luck! Need You Now and Everything lock up the Top 2 at #1 and #2 respectively. "Shake That" moves 4-3, pushing "Dehors Novembre" down to 3-4. "Closer" makes a rise 9-8, "All of the Lights" rebounds 12-9, and yesterday's new song "Viridian City" rises 14-10, entering the Top 10! Outside the Top 10, "Store" bounces up 2 steps, 17-15, and "Need You Now" by Lady Antebellum debuts at #20. Also, Parade gets its 20th consecutive day on the charts! Stay tuned for tomorrow's chart! -JeffRayGun
  19. Perfect Illusion! That one's going to crop up on today's chart for me... :P For some reason, your Stromae entry is all bold. Looks like your formatting had a malfunction there! I should listen to those new Sia and Zara songs at some point...
  20. Justin Timberlake holds the top spot with "FutureSex/LoveSound", while "Kiss It Better" holds #2. "Your Type" jumps up 7-3, while "Run Away With Me" holds at #4. Stay tuned for tomorrow's chart! -JeffRayGun
  22. @JosephStyles: I only got into her music recently (read: last February) after having been exposed to the massive Carly fandom on the Popheads subreddit for a while. She's definitely up there in my list of favourite pop artists, and definitely somewhere in my "favourite female artists" list. :D Here's the update: Closer finally broke me, and it reached #1 on massive "mindplay" gains for the day. Not far behind it, however, is Justin Timberlake with "FutureSex/LoveSound" debuting at #2, and proving a close match for #1 tomorrow! Les B.B. rise 5-3 with "Donne moi ma chance", while "Run Away With Me" remains static at #4 for another day. "Your Type" falls 3-5, "Tassez vous de d'là" falls 1-6, Kanye gains with "Black Skinhead which rebounds 10-7. "On Sight" falls 7-8, "All of the Lights" rises 11-9, and "Every Teardrop is a Waterfall" drops 6-10. Additionally, Rihanna debuts "Kiss It Better" at #20, marking the artist's 5th song to chart, including features. Her last hit was back in 2015 with Russian Roulette, which hit #1 for a day in the tail-end of April that year. Stay tuned for the next chart! -JeffRayGun
  23. @Jade: Run Away With Me is an amazing song. Its run back in February this year was absolutely disappointing though... Hopefully this time around will make it a bigger hit! :P Time for the update! Quebec takes over in this chart update! Popular Quebec 90s rock band "Les Colocs" takes the #1 from Carly with "Tassez vous de d'là", which seems to be the very first Quebec #1 song on the JeffCharts! Took a while, considering that's where I am from actually... xP Anyway, "Sing" by Travis holds #2 for a 2nd day, while "Your Type" falls 1-3. "Run Away With Me" holds its #4 position. Les B.B, another Quebec band which was popular in the late 80s/early 90s, takes #5 with "Donne-moi ma chance". Coldplay's "Every Teardrop..." is regaining from its harsh fall as it continues back up 7-6. "On Sight" by Kanye West reaches a new peak, moving 9-7. "Closer" falls hard 3-8, "Sugar Sugar" drops 5-9, and "Black Skinhead" falls 8-10. Stay tuned for more! -JeffRayGun
  24. Woo, Alors On Danse! Loved that song back in 2015! It was apparently a hit in 2009 in Quebec. :P Sad to see Bastille dropping out though...
  25. And now, have the Sept. 6th update! Carly Rae Jepsen holds #1 for a 2nd day with "Your Type", extending her longest (and only) stay at the top. "Sing" by Travis jumps 6-2, while "Closer" by The Chainsmokers and Halsey holds at #3. "Run Away With Me" returns to the Top 10 as it runs up 12-4. "Sugar Sugar" by The Archies falls 2-5, and "All of the Lights" drops 5-6. "Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall" surges back to the Top 10, vaulting 13-7. "Black Skinhead" falls 4-8, while "On Sight" returns to the Top 10, moving 11-9. "Electric Love" rounds up the top 10, falling 7-10. See you on the next update! -JeffRayGun
