  1. I doubt the acoustics will do much for the album but I’m guessing that a lot of this is self funded at this point so I’m happy that she’s doing something for the fans to enjoy the album campaign for a bit longer.
  2. Billboard is reporting that she sold 2.7 pure copies in the US on the first day alone.
  3. I do think Sabrina will catch her, but Perrie likely doesn’t have to beat Jades sales to hold her off. Sabrina only did 20k last week which is less than Jade and she has less sales this Monday than she did last Monday so she possibly won’t hit that mark. That being said, I still think it’s unlikely she will hold onto #2. However, there is a world where if the banquet show sales are behind and she pulls a could tricks she could maybe do it. I’m not expecting it though.
  4. I don’t know that a different focus track would’ve changed the performance since the focus was mostly just a mediocre spot on release playlists, but I do think Absof***inglutely is the better song. It also seems (based on the teaser she posted before the album came out), that they filmed something before for Baby Steps. Almost surprised they didn’t use that as the focus track so that they didn’t have to pay to film another video.
  5. Pink are gone already but the standard vinyl is still available. I’m glad they’re really fighting for this. Outside of Olivia dominating on streaming, the other new releases this week are pretty much in line on streaming seemingly, with Doja a little bit ahead but no crazy numbers. Really hoping the signings and events can help Perrie pull through to Top 5.
  6. Happy to get 2-2 as I believe that was the one she wrote with Raye. But because it’s a bundle and the US shipping is outrageous because of tariffs, I’ll have to wait until it comes to iTunes/streaming platforms.
  7. No song on New Music Friday Au & NZ. These Spotify numbers are about to be rough.
  8. I enjoyed pretty much everything here. The standouts for me were Sand Dancer, Bonnie and Clyde, Punchline, Absof***inglutely and Where You Are. I think those are the ones where you really get her personality. I actually think Pushing Up Daisies is the least captivating thing here, it sounds like Ed Sheeran on autopilot (which is what it is). Rocket Scientist makes sense as a single when you think about the songs that a random man smashes with every other month, but I don’t think the same strategy will work for a female artist unfortunately. My biggest criticism is that with more time, I think a lot of these songs could’ve been fleshed out more. There’s not a lot of bridges or outros that could’ve changed things up a bit. But I had fun listening to it and I think the time going back to the studio served her very well. A very cohesive listen and of course she sounds incredible. I think I’ll get a lot of use out of it.
  9. The personally signed CDs have sold out now that she posted about signing them. I think if she would post a rehearsal clip or something with the Banquet gig link, that would sell out as well.
  10. The album is still at 49 on Apple Music after climbing to 41 on Friday when Miss You came out. Hopefully that will lead to a strong Apple Music performance because we know Spotify will be lacking.
  11. Spotify streamers. It’s been very stable on Apple Music which makes it even weirder that Hot Hits UK did nothing for it when it was added.
  12. You are correct. I saw a tweet but didn’t realize it was the international store where the first bundles sold out. Which is honestly surprising to me because those shipping fees were no joke.
  13. Do they even really count that far? Anyway, estimating sales is hard cause those bundles on her website sold out but there’s no idea of how many were put up and then how many people ordering were from the UK. But the signings sold out and the personally signed copies sold out as well so that will add a bit. Honestly, my bigger hope is that the album release can give If He Wanted To He Would the push it needs to go Top 40. And that maybe the interest from that song will increase interest in the single coming with the album.
  14. Album signings announced! On sale tomorrow!
  15. I don’t think so. I am in the US so I can’t see the UK versions of the Apple playlists, but per the fan sights it was added to A-List Pop on the evening of release day and then entered the Apple Music chart the following day. There’s no reference of it being on Today’s Hits until today, but it’s possible that it was added and the update accounts just missed it until now.
  16. Hopefully it’ll start bouncing back on Apple after people move on from New Music Friday. It was added to Today’s Hits there today as well.
  17. They just added the song to Hot Hits UK!
  18. I thought this thread was supposed to be strictly to discuss the single?
  19. You’re right and I deleted my post because I didn’t think is was really fair to say what you can or can not understand. But I stand by the point that you have been trying to brush it under the rug for as long as the Jesy threads have been open. Admitting she’s wrong but also urging people to stop talking about it so you can enjoy the music is still brushing it off. And repeatedly trying to spread blame to Leigh Anne when we know that Leigh Anne brought the issue to Jesys attention and she ignored it, is brushing off Jesy’s responsibility in this whole mess.
  20. Jesy couldn’t open her mouth once to defend Leigh during that live but your first thought is that she asked Nicki to change her caption within minutes of it being posted? Seems unlikely.
  21. Jesy is a grown woman. If she had any problem with what Nicki was saying, she could say something about it or get off the live. She clearly didn’t and so whether she was laughing at what Nicki was saying or her accents it doesn’t matter. She also confirmed that Leigh Anne messaged her about this after the Sweet Melody video so the whole idea that this was brand new when the interviewer asked her about it is bogus which leads me to believe a lot of her narrative is made up to serve her well.
  22. I’m still bopping to this. It stinks that it flopped, but it will slot in nicely on their Greatest Hits for me.
  23. Really? I feel like Heartbreak Anthem climbed really quickly but had Olivia’s album stopping it from that higher peak. Regardless, I think this was always going to do well upon debut in the UK. They seem to be hoping for US appeal, but it’s nowhere on Apple Music here and doesn’t have good Spotify support so it’ll be interesting to see where it debuts there tomorrow. It takes much more than iTunes to get onto the Hot 100.
  24. The chorus is catchy. The verses are lyrically cringe and the high pitched baby voice she’s singing in is unpleasant. Having Diddy mention Little Mix in the video was a dumb move that’s only gonna get her dragged, but I guess all press is good press.
  25. Oversaturation is a thing and has definitely played a part but I also feel like if they had released this the week of the anniversary we wouldn’t be having this discussion because it wouldn’t have performed this poorly to start off without the the huge releases in the past two weeks. Without Drakes album, the song debuts in the Spotify top 50 and probably doesn’t fall as far the second day because of the Top 50 boost.
