I was kind of hoping it would be on the Swish Swish level because even though I think that song is terrible, Nickis verse is a standout for me from her recent stuff

I’ve seen some reports that the show was upgraded to 8 episodes this season which means they will likely start airing on November 3rd. If they they truly are the 3rd episode that would put the album out on the 16th with their performance airing on the 17th

I've been thinking about their first week numbers. Unless something drastic happens with sales or someone huge releases out of the blue on the 5th or the 12th, realistically they'd need about 60k sales to debut at #1 and about 35-40k to be top 5. Only You got off to a rough start but I'm sure their lead single will get better Spotify placement and pretty much better everything that release did. I wish they had the video ready to go for those extra streams but that obviously won't happen. Do lyric videos count towards the chart if they're uploaded by the official channel or does it have to be the official video?

I don't know how much you're comfortable with giving away but what was the performance like? Was there a lot of choreography?

I’m not really that fussed about another feature. 1) because the girls have wanted this for a very long time and 2) their past features were all added on after the fact so we still have the original version to listen to. It’ll be interesting this time to have the song originally released with the rap already in place

Supposedly called “Woman Like Me” written by Ed Sheeran, Steve Mac and Jess Glynne but that could just be a different song registered under a name similar to what they’re singing

So apparently the X Factor got rid of bootcamp this year. Does that mean the live shows will start earlier than late October? Because, if so, I think they could be debuting on the first week of lives. This weekend is the last auditions and the 1 weekend of Six Chair Challenges and 1 weekend of Judges Houses would put the first live show on October 13th. Also, at this point, I think its likely that "Wait On It" is not the title, but rather them telling us to wait.

Cheat Codes x LM keep moving up little by little during the week and then dropping a few spots over the weekend. Can they just movie it up the playlists already so it can score a week or two in the official top 10?

Climbing steadily on iTunes and Apple Music and getting better on Spotify. Now we just need a discount and better positioning on Hot Hits and Summer Hits.

They have been. Reggaeton Lento was and so were Touch and Shout Out but Power wasn't and I don't think No More Sad Songs was either. They usually enter pretty far down the list and never manage to make it much higher. I think Touch actually made it up pretty high and was rising well in the US and globally but then just kind of fizzled out.

This actually isn’t doing too badly on Apple Music (its at 41) which just goes to show how much the lack of playlist support is contributing to its dismal Spotify performance. And for a song with minimal radio support (I know Capital is playing it some but most days when it look it doesn’t seem like they’ve played it more that a couple times a day), it’s holding up alright on iTunes. Once the video comes out and they get it on Hot Hits UK and Radio 1 it should take off. From their tweets it seems like the video has been filmed already so it shouldn’t be more than a couple weeks

They’ve never really dont great on Spotify though. SOTME was the only song of theirs that started off super strong and that’s because of how hyped it was. I don’t see why they would waste their comeback song on a collab and then even further not bother to secure immediate Spotify support. Sure the song can and probably will rebound but this is rough.

Are we sure that collab is really coming today? At this point it seems like a rumor

It doesn’t look like Capital playlists it either so it’ll be interesting to see how this pans out.

I haven’t seen an actual confirmation of the Bieber song coming tonight other than someone on Pulse saying it probably is but even if it does this should still get off to a good start and can maybe grow and take #1 eventually. If not it should still be a nice Top 5 hit for them that will likely continue their run of platinum singles.

Liam Payne holding very steady around #20 all week and that’s with no discount, before the music video and without Radio 1 playlisting yet. Looking like it could be a big hit for him.

I liked his What About Us cover but I doubt he’d do it again. The live lounge is usually for covers of songs that are pretty current so I imagine he’ll do something new

Yeah this is a perfect bop just in time for the summer. Hopefully it really takes off for him.

Big jump for Liam/J Balvin even with all the avicii songs entering above them. Hopefully it keeps growing, I think it could be a huge hit over the summer.
