It still seems to me like there’s some iTunes data missing. But if not, it’s a shame especially since it was topping iTunes for half the week and almost certainly would’ve had the streams to stay Top 10, maybe even Top 5, had it been immediately added to Hot Hits UK like the other new releases. I’m sure it will make the top 10 eventually though.

I didn't even notice that but it honestly makes no sense. Especially since the Platinum Edition includes Reggaeton Lento so all four songs are from the same album. Is it just because RL has two lead artists?

Liam/Rita we’re added to Today’s Top Hits late last night which should help but they really need that Hot Hits UK placement

Both Rita and Liam’s teams were pretty great in 2017 about getting good Spotify and radio playlisting and also great promo spots. The song sounds massive so if they play it right I could easily see it being a contender for #1

It might not be impossible. The platinum edition is all the way up to #10 on itunes and the normal deluxe version is at 25 which is up 130 places from yesterday.

Technically but Louis Tomlinson’s Back To You has 9 days left to close a 400k gap which it will easily do, so no they will not be nominated.

Liam is probably credited first because he’s the bigger artist in the movies primary artist or just because it’s alphabetical or just because they thought it sounded better, who knows. The snippet sounds kind of epic. Obviously it’s just a little clip but Andrew Watt has had a pretty good year writing hits so I’m looking forward to it.

Saw a video of a performance of this song and everything about it was bad. I can't see the X Factor performance doing much for this song beyond slowing down its initial fall a little bit. Liam and Harry both only got okay boosts with better songs and what are sure to be better performances as well.

No More Sad Songs is my favorite song on Glory Days and one of my favorite Little Mix songs of all time. It really didn't deserve to be in this chart.

They only said they were performing with CNCO, none of the tweets have mentioned the song. So while they will obviously be singing Reggaeton Lento, we don’t know if that’s all they’ll be singing. Out of their past 4 X Factor performances, only one of them wasn’t a mashup or medley. They could very easily transition between Reggaeton Lento and any of the new tracks, especially Is Your Love Enough, which was also added to Hot Hits UK which makes it seem like it’s getting a push.

Little Mix have actually been quite absent from UK television in the past 12 months. Since last year’s X Factor finale they’ve only been on TV 3 times if I remember correctly. Once for the Brits, once for One Love Manchester and once on that new show that I can’t remember the name of buy they just aired a song from their tour. On all of those occasions they performed a single that was at least a couple months old at the time, they were never there to promote anything. I think that because they came from the X Factor and they’ve done the finale the past two years there’s this idea that it’s not a big deal. They’re still one of the biggest pop acts in the game right now. If they’re using this opportunity to launch a new single from the re-release then I’d say that qualifies as a big event.
