  1. Any updates on the single positions? Since the year is almost over I’m interested to see what the nominations for Best British Single will look like at the Brits
  2. Liam didn't call into the show though. Gorgeous by Taylor Swift was also #11 despite being in the 30's on iTunes. Matt Terry as well was 14 and he's in the 50's. Even the songs that are in the top 10 on both the iTunes and the big top 40 chart are kind of out of order. Charlie Puth has been top 5 on iTunes all day but he's #8 on the Top 40, so maybe they've changed the format?
  3. I feel like its just so early for them to give us a snippet of one specific song if they weren't planning to release it before the album. RL has done great but I don't think its really selling the re-release because there was no connection to it when the song was released. They need a new single if they want people to remember that this re-release is happening.
  4. Any updates on the YTD positions for singles?
  5. Technically it did still have a bit of a gain as the previous week it had at least 60 spins from Most Requested Live. They didn't play it the past week which means if it wasnt gaining at all they would've had less than 379 spins. Hopefully it gains a bit of traction with the adds tomorrow though or else yeah, its definitely not gaining enough to have any impact.
  6. Easily my favorite of his three and by far my favorite between all members but Zayn. I’m glad one of them actually decided to bring the bops and upbeat fun songs.
  7. Liam to smash please!
  8. I don’t think that’s really the issue. One is an album, the other is a single. It’s probably because Strip That Down did pretty mediocrely on YouTube so they’re trying to boost views by debuting the video immediately. EDIT: I know it did alright in the log run, but it got off to a really slow start on YouTube which I assume is what they’re trying to fix this time around, IF the video is coming on Friday.
  9. https://twitter.com/LiamPayne/status/920318511674617856 Possibly a still from the video? Will he release the video on Friday along with the song then?
  10. It’s not a guaranteed thing but it’s 49/50 on the playlist. Usually when new songs get added, it’s the ones on the bottom that get removed. It has gotten a few random boosts though so maybe someone is working behind the scenes to keep it on.
  11. Shout Out entered the Top 50 a day before its impact date. Reggaeton Lento is #50 on the Building Chart today, over a week before its impact date. The switch to Touch was announced on February 6th with presumably immediate impact at pop radio as it never got an impact date. It took it a whole month to debut on the chart. The remix impacted rhythmic the next week and got like 2 adds and never charted. I never said it was lighting the radio on fire. I said it was doing better, which it is. Its not doing as well as Shout Out was doing on iTunes but Shout Out had had a couple of promo slots by that point while Reggaeton Lento has had none and is still even with Touch's iTunes performance when the girls were in America performing the song for thousands of people every night. Obviously, the timing is awful and its only got a couple days left on Todays Top Hits which will effectively kill its US streaming because it wouldn't be re-added. I didn't say it'd be a hit, only that it was performing better than usual and better than I expected. EDIT: I see now that I missed a few random dates where they popped in and then immediately fell back out. I was originally only looking at the official published charts on Sundays, not the rolling 7 day ones. I still believe RL's current trajectory (74-59-52), thats its achieved with no promo and pretty much no US hype, is a good sign of good listener response to the song.
  12. It’s actually holding up a lot better on US itunes than their songs usually do (it only just this week fell into the 400s), which shows it could very easily climb if the airplay picks up. It’s also doing better on radio than their past singles did. None of them got this much airplay before impact which tellls me either Columbia finally got their act together or it’s responding very well with listener surveys or Shazam in the areas that are playing it. Obviously we all know how this usually turns out but there’s no harm in some optimism, especially when this is outdoing the ones before.
  13. I think we’re still getting a new single. It’s the best way to boost the re-release sales as RL will be dying by the end of November.
  14. This song is really bad so good thing it’s not a single. Probably the worst song any of them have released in my opinion.
  15. http://headlineplanet.com/home/2017/10/08/...-pop-radio/amp/ It’s still getting pretty good spincreases on All Access. It could maybe make the Top 50 before impact. I’m hoping it gets another handful of adds tonight.
  16. Up 15 spots to #59 on US pop radio, largely thanks to a station in Texas that played the song 57 times this week.
  17. Well after Reggaeton Lento was already released, Perrie told a Spanish radio station that they'd already filmed the video for the next single. It's not guaranteed that it'll come out before the re-release but it would make so much more sense to release it before the album because the sales will be better. By the time the girls have a break in the tour and X factor shows start, Reggaeton Lento will be getting a little old and it would just make sense to bring out something new.

Article from the OCC has DNA (album) at 424,000 sales. http://www.officialcharts.com/chart-news/t...revealed__7770/
  19. Niall and Post Malone discounting after only two weeks? I know Niall is has been quick to discount in the past but I think this is even faster than Slow Hands.

Just two years ago they didn’t have any platinum singles and now the have 6 with a 7th only days away and a couple more heading there and a couple heading to 2x platinum as well.
  21. He's performing at the Teen Awards on the Sunday right after this is released. Do the Teen Awards usually have any effect on iTunes?
  22. It will be really interesting to see how Liam's second single performs. Strip That Down had some of the worst debut sales out of all 5 boys, but went on to outsell them and in less time (other than Pillowtalk obviously). Hopefully the public reacts as well to Bedroom Floor and he can rack up a second big hit. Get Low's performance was certainly underwhelming but I think it was hurt by how well Strip That Down was still doing, especially in the US where the song hadn't even peaked yet. Also I'd say that This Town had more worldwide success than Just Hold On. If we're just talking UK success though than This Town was definitely the least successful.
  23. I know it’s not the “best” song in the bunch but I’d rather listen to Strip That Down than any other song on the list because it’s just fun. It’s an ear worm and it grows on you unlike most of the slow melancholy songs the other boys are putting out. It makes sense that it snuck it’s way so high in this rate in the same way that it became pretty much the most successful out of all the debuts, after Pillowtalk.
  24. Liam confirmed it on twitter today but he said it in an interview like a week ago. I believe he also said the album was coming in 2018.
  25. They’re not doing as much promo because they really don’t have to. Yes, it’s annoying that some of these songs could’ve been bigger, but they were still big hits, except for No More Sad Songs which Is call a moderate hit. As for the actual performances some of the Summer Shout Out Tour has the best choreography I’ve seen from the girls so they’re definitely still improving and getting better. The Brits performance had to be rushed bc of the Dangerous Woman Tour but it was still pretty much the biggest spectacle of the night.
