  2. Will definitely be interesting to see how these boosts effect the chart seeing as none of these songs are doing much of anything on streaming platforms. I think One Last Time should atleast make top 10, maybe top 5 if this effect lasts for a couple more days. Niall will probably be just outside the top 10, unless his streaming really picks up. As for the others it really all depends on how long the effect lasts. Yes they're high on iTunes but they're two, almost three, days behind and still selling small numbers, with little to no streaming. I could see them sneaking into the 30-40 range. Last week it would've taken 15k to enter the Top 40. If they stay in the iTunes top 10 all week, they could do it.
  3. Sorry! I thought I had a bit of time before the day was up. If you've already counted everything up, don't worry about it!

  6. As someone who has considered Liam her favorite member since day 1, I'd say he was never the most popular despite, in my opinion, being the most talented. He was usually more towards the middle but now that everyone's gone solo and things are more of a competition, they've kind of dropped him in favor of Harry or Niall (this is what i've witnessed before Liam's song was even out, obviously I'm not referring to the fans who just prefer their music). But regardless, I'm impressed by how steady he is across the board after a whole week. Still #3 on iTunes, #4 on Amazon, #5 on Apple Music and #6 on Spotify. He was #5 on Spotify for the past two days, making him the only 1D solo member since Zayn to reach the top 5 on the chart. So while he may not have had as much initial hype, he seems to be doing okay for himself.

  8. An unpopular opinion on here but I actually love Liam Paynes song so I'm glad to see it doing well on Spotify. Interestingly enough, Liam is only the second 1D member after Zayn to crack the UK Spotify top 5.
  9. Still loving this three days in. He's performing it on the Graham Norton Show on Friday.
  10. It's actually a sample of It Wasnt Me. I checked and all the writers are credited on the song.
  11. Strip That Down is actually the only new song I liked from this bunch of releases so I'm happy to see it doing the best out the gate. Hopefully it can stick around near the top long enough for a solid debut chart position.
  12. Loving this right now. I've basically had it on repeat since it came out. It's much more relaxed than I was expecting but the chorus is so catchy. Hope it does well for him, he deserves it. Probably won't end up the highlight of the album but solid for a debut.
  13. Love the cover. The fonts kind of basic but I think the layout is aesthetically pleasing and he looks hot as hell.
  14. Really looking forward to this. He keeps posting that same snippet but he did post a short one that was a bit different and it's sounding good.
  15. I'm pretty sure it's just Quavo on his single because in the interview he states "I just came from a video shoot" or whatever. I think Quavo has the best verse on I'm the One and most of the Migos songs I've heard. And yeah Migos are getting around a little bit right now but there's no point in knocking a song and feature that no one has heard yet. Anyway, I find the output of all the other members to be boring and honestly hard to get through so I'm hoping Liam will be the one to put out something fun.

  17. Niall Horan is releasing his second single 'Slow Hands' on Thursday. His first one shot to the top of the iTunes chart but This Town didn't do much in the U.K., so I wonder if this one will do the same.

  19. I believe he just meant pop music. None of the boys have really strayed that far from pop but Nialls more acoustic, Harry's is more rock sounding, Louis did an EDM collab and then Zayn was more R&B. I know there was a lot of rumors that Liam was going to lean more towards R&B/Hip Hop, so Ryan was just saying that he's sticking to pop.
  20. Despite the discount and it's surprisingly long run on the Radio 1 A list, I would still say that their team has mishandled this song. For one, they released it at a horrible time . Also, an itunes discount should not be a songs main form of promotion. When they saw that the song was struggling they should have been trying to find a promo slot for the girls last week or this week. I do think that the discount has managed to turn it in to a small hit but nothing sells a Little Mix single like a performance does and with the way this single started out, they should've been scrambling to book one, only using the discount to keep it afloat until then.
  21. Ryan Tedder has worked with him on some songs and described his genre as "straight pop". There have also been reports that his music is coming in May. Here's the article with Ryan if anyone's interested: http://www.newsweek.com/ryan-tedder-adele-...bey-road-589430
  22. Still discounted which is nice but even the smallest little promo slot would be much appreciated at this point cause the song is pretty much stalling.
  23. Added back to the Teen Party playlist on Spotify which has over 2 million followers and up to 30 on Today's Top Hits. Do we think that's because it's being received well on that playlist, as in people aren't skipping it?
  24. I think Harry's got it this week but it wouldn't be too hard for Clean Bandit to take it next week.
  25. I know the specific number of updates doesn't matter, I' m just saying I expected it to jump up that fast because Harry by far has the biggest percentage of the One Direction fan base but I also expected it to keep growing seeing as radio stations were likely hammering it, therefore exposing it to new audiences all day long.
