I think the two televised performances of Think About Us were both great and really elevated the song. Worst would probably be Holiday. It just doesn't work that well.

I like the song but it’s not like the videos gonna get that many views anyway. I can promise you, we will not be discussing this take in a week, because we will all have moved on from the the video already. Also, a lot of Little Mix fans are teenage girls. And as a woman who was once I teenager, I’ve really grown to resent the idea that having teenage girls as your fanbase is a bad thing.

There was like maybe 2 teen girls out of all the people they showed in that video. You haven’t even seen it and you’ve decided what the whole video is. Don’t get me wrong, I could not care less about this video now that I know the girls aren’t in it, but I feel like you’re jumping to conclusions.

Unfollowing Perrie’s cousin is not a PR statement and it’s laughable to think it is. I can’t even make sense of your second point but it basically seems like your blaming Jesy for any struggles she has with people obsessing over her life because, again, she unfollowed some people on Instagram?

I don’t think there actually is a respectful way to pick apart every move someone makes online. If you love Jesy so much and have been a fan for so long, how do you not realize that she’s an incredibly private person who hates that kind of stuff. No, you all aren’t saying anything nasty, but that doesn’t mean it should continue.

I think they would’ve held onto #1 last week without the push anyway, but yes, it’s good it happened last week instead of being wasted this week. Although I guess the funds could’ve gone to NTFT instead

Glad to see Little Mix look safe for #2 after Olivia overtakes since they’ve extended their lead over Ed since yesterday.

Yeah, anything referencing the departure of Jesy in any way would just kind of come off as a desperate attention grab to me. Let the music speak for itself and bless us with a fantastic pop bop and then if they want to throw in a sappy ballad on the album so be it.

I don’t think she wants them to tag her in anything or draw attention to her in relation to the group in social media. They mentioned it on the radio and that was great, but it’s not a coincidence that everyone who works with them isn’t tagging her. I’m sure she has asked them not too.

I can’t see Ed being #1 even without Olivia. With all the data missing today (Spotify, Youtube and seemingly Apple Music) he’s only beating Little Mix on Spotify and only by 1.6k streams.

How is Olivia doing on Amazon? Her Spotify numbers are probably enough to get the #1 regardless.

At some point, y’all have to accept that she left the group. So she has no obligation to post about the group or acknowledge what’s going on in the group. In time, she’ll probably do an interview or something to talk about what lead to the decision and at that point she’ll probably mention how she feels about the continued success of the group without her, including Sweet Melody reaching #1. But she doesn’t owe us an explanation or a post or anything.

I’m not ruling out a second week at #1. I think it’ll spend on how far Whoopty can pull away on Spotify or if they can keep the Amazon lead. I think it’ll be close.

Glad to see it climbing on Amazon and Apple. Hopefully that could be enough to help it climb into the Top 20 before the music video comes out.

I think Sweet Melody is a perfect guide map for what they should be doing in the future. It’s pop and it’s fun but it’s not riddled with cheesy/cringe lyrics and the video features them doing what they do best. The Little Mix from the DNA era would have never made that video and that’s what we need. They need to continue making music for their actual age group instead of the age group they originally appealed to because that age group doesn’t even like that sound anymore.

Anyone is not very good on first listen. Better than Holy and Lonely probably but not nearly as good as his old material.

This climbed up to #5 on the Youtube chart which I believe is from Monday. Is it out of the question that they could get a second week? It seems like their lead on Amazon was doing it for them even before the buying spree and with all of the top songs being ahead on different platforms could they sneak in one more week?

If by a "push" from their team you mean them putting out 2,000 limited edition/signed copies exclusive to the UK that will all ship by Thursday, then yes a push would do it. But it's clear thats not gonna happen. Outside of that it would take a miracle to overcome a 900 sales deficit when the person you need to pass is beating you on every platform and you've sold less than 3,000 copies over the first half of the week. I love Little Mix and I'm very happy it looks like they're gonna get the #1 for Sweet Melody. I wish their team would've had the foresight to realize that album sales would be low in January and they could get an easy week in at #1 but it doesn't seem like they did so I'm not gonna hold my breath for it.

And apparently some people are very eager for LM to not get a #1. Nobody is denying that LM fans are doing all they can to get #1. The point they were making is that despite being behind Ed and CJ on Spotify and Youtube and Apple (CJ at least, they’re above Ed), they increased their lead still yesterday. So they’re obviously at this point selling enough and stream enough on Amazon to outdo the small differences in numbers from the platforms that are missing. And they’ve probably sold almost double today of what they did yesterday on iTunes. So your assumption that they’ll fall behind either of those acts are baseless.
