I know! It’s been at 16 for over a day now. I’m glad it’s stable but I’d love some playlist adjusting so it can start climbing again.

They’ve already released multiple rounds of signed copies. I’m fine with them leaving it alone for now but I hope they have some stuff ready for release week and at least one more promo spot.

Signed CDs appear to be available on Amazon again.

I’m still hoping that one teaser they posted with the lips is related to a vertical video they shot. Get that on HHUK with a move up on the playlisting this Friday and then the cover and a top 5 placement on album release week would be lovely.

16 on Apple Music. Can it pass Break Up Songs peak even before the playlisting improves?

Obviously it's not as impressive as getting an overall #1 debut but do they have a shot to get the pure sales #1? They're ahead of Ariana and KSI now (combined versions) on iTunes and are ahead of them both on Amazon music as well. Is there another outlet that would account for digital sales that I'm missing where they are behind?

New peak of #17 on Apple Music! The way things seem to be falling into place for this song is so nice to see. Hopefully its Spotify numbers are steady tomorrow.

I don't think theres a deluxe edition coming. I think they're just trying to spread things out to keep the hype up. So we'll probably get the tracklist soon and then some snippets like they did for LM5.

Was just coming here to post this. Now if only they could actually get good playlisting, we could really get cooking. The fact that it’s still climbing on day 3 without it is an incredible sign.

I always felt Competition would have made a great sport relief single.

As it has already been pointed out in another post, the song isn't saying they are never going to release songs like that ever again. It's just saying that this song is not a pop song about those things because even thought that's all people expect out of them, they sometimes like to step out of that box. Historically, people look at girl groups as "guilty pleasures" - only good for upbeat/cheesy pop songs about boys/relationships. And while Little Mix can do that (and usually do it pretty well) that's not all they can do. So if you're looking for that, thats not what this song is.

I still don’t think it’s real. Ellie and/or Diplo would have a credit on the song.

I feel like the single will come out the week of one of their live shows for The Search. That would make the most sense to me.

Didn’t they already use sway for American Boy? Seems odd that they would sample the same song twice, especially on consecutive albums.

I love this cover. I wish there was a little less blank space at the top but I love the glitter eye make up.

“Please stop releasing this music even though you’re still getting consistent Top 40 hits and selling out tours and also it’s the music you are actually writing and want to put out”. Somehow I don’t think that argument is going to work.

To compare Holidays current performance to Bounce Back’s is a bit of a reach as Bounce Back probably had better Hot Hits placing and by this time already had the music video and vertical video out. Holiday has none of those things. Also, maybe if the single bores you, you can stop providing us with daily updates on how terrible you think it’s doing.

I feel like they almost definitely filmed a vertical video in front of that blue screen they keep posting short clips in front of. Hopefully, that can come Friday if the actual video isn’t ready yet.

I noticed it did better on Spotify than Duas feature and Maroon 5 which were both above them on NMF and Hot Hits, so thats something. I wish they would just switch Break Up Song and Holiday on HH.

It’s actually #7 now with all new releases above it on US iTunes. But that’s just more of a testament to how much download sales decrease every day. It’s not actually gonna do anything in the US without being sent to radios or added to the playlists, which isn’t happening.

It’s 18 on US itunes right now with 3 Taylor Swift songs in front of it. It’s also 8 AM on the east coast which means it’s 5 AM in California. Unless all the Taylor songs pass it (which they might) it’ll probably go top 10 by then end of the day and inevitably die the next day and never be seen again. This pessimism is a little too much.

The Hot Hits UK position is low but I noted the new Taylor, J Balvin/Dua and Maroon 5 songs were all added in the 40-50 range.

It’s been on repeat in my head all day, so I’d say it’s pretty catchy.
