PREDICT: Where you think SINGLE 23 will chart and peak.
It’s hard to predict things now with streaming because almost everything depends on playlist support. If the song is good and they get good support from the get go, I can see a top 10/top 15 debut. If there’s no support, it’ll probably miss the Top 40 and then bomb out.

Little Mix - Bounce Back
They’re almost certainly not going to release Wasabi. You’d be better off begging them to release one of the songs Leigh Anne and Jade wrote last week.

Little Mix - Bounce Back
“Pushing it relentlessly” by publishing videos that they’d already recorded and throwing a couple remixes on spotify which they’ve done for multiple singles before? Seems like a reach.

Little Mix - Bounce Back
It clearly has something to do with Syco because they won’t play any of their songs since they left Syco. Any other reasoning is just people being unnecessarily negative.

Little Mix - Bounce Back
I absolutely love this. It’s so much fun and I think it’s a cool interpolation of the song with the verses and prechoruses bringing new life to it.

Little Mix - Bounce Back
I’m kind of laughing that a lot of people thought they were going to double down on appealing to the younger audience after LM5 flopped and instead they’re singing about throwing it back and how wet they are. I’m very intrigued to hear the full sound of the song is. This is should be interesting

Little Mix - Bounce Back
I think the snippet sounds fun and I’m excited. Also, despite the horns, I’m not really getting the Sax or Focus comparisons. I didn’t think of those at all until it was brought up.

Little Mix - Bounce Back
I think one each day is too much. It’s probably one per week and then the song comes on June 14th, just in time for Corden.

Think About Us (Feat. Ty Dolla $ign) • 2nd Single
I kind of think they gave up on this because of whatever they said they have coming soon. There’s no other explanation as to why it hasn’t been discounted yet. I don’t totally mind the idea of them moving on if they’ve got a sure fire hit up their sleeve, but I hate the idea of this ruining their top 20 streak because they didn’t give it that little extra push.

LM5 • 5th Studio Album
Honestly the album performance isn’t bothering me at all. Is it disappointing? Absolutely. But I don’t want them to move on from their best work just because it didn’t sell as much as the last two. Whose to guarantee that a new album would do any better? As long as they keep having singles success and touring success they’ll be fine. They were always almost certainly gonna have a new album out by the end of the year anyway, so what’s the harm in seeing what Wasabi or one of the other album tracks could do before they move on

Think About Us (Feat. Ty Dolla $ign) • 2nd Single
It likely won’t see a huge climb tomorrow because the chart playlist didn’t update until the day was almost over.

Think About Us (Feat. Ty Dolla $ign) • 2nd Single
I don’t know why the wait made you expect more out of it. They weren’t reshooting and they’d already teased the concepts and setups and video itself before the delay. I get that maybe it wasn’t worth the wait, but the wait shouldn’t have made you expect MORE.

Think About Us (Feat. Ty Dolla $ign) • 2nd Single
I love that immediately after I lost hope they added it.

Think About Us (Feat. Ty Dolla $ign) • 2nd Single
I was trying to remain optimistic, but I am starting to worry that it’s never gonna get that add. An act of their status in the UK shouldn’t have to wait this long for a Hot Hits add and the fact that they put the vertical video out just to sit on their This Is Little Mix playlist makes me think something got majorly screwed up, but if they haven’t fixed it by now I’m not sure they ever will.

Think About Us (Feat. Ty Dolla $ign) • 2nd Single
I don’t know why people keep insinuating that it’s not clicking because of the single choice. At this point its obviously not the songs fault because it’s performing well on iTunes and Apple Music so people do want to listen to it and it is clicking with them when they’re exposed to it. The major problem they’re facing is the complete lack of Spotify support. People can’t be underwhelmed by a single if they haven’t heard it or been exposed to it at all. Spotify users, more than any other service, rely on the playlists to introduce them to new music and to listen to the music that’s popular. If Think About Us isn’t on the new music playlists and it’s not on any of the most popular playlists, Spotify users aren’t gonna listen.

Think About Us (Feat. Ty Dolla $ign) • 2nd Single
There are very few artists I’d expect to make the top 200 with ANY playlisting and Little Mix are one of them. Especially since it’s not like this is a hugely hyped lead single. It’s a remix of a song already on the album. Of course it didn’t make the Top 200 without New Music Friday. It’s not gonna touch the Top 200 until they get it on Hot Hits UK.

Think About Us (Feat. Ty Dolla $ign) • 2nd Single
They said there were only females on the ALBUM. They were teasing male collabs in interviews before the album even came out, I doubt they care that much that Ty is on it.

LM5 • 5th Studio Album
The albums been rising on iTunes over the past two days? Is it discounted or being promoted somewhere?
-
Think About Us (Feat. Ty Dolla $ign) • 2nd Single
Brits is one night but they can release the single this week do radio promo and get it on Spotify playlist, release the video the next week or the week after let it build on radio and a well timed discount with the Brits performance can have it peaking on all formats at the same time. If they had released it in December or too early in January, it would run the risk of being past it’s peak by February 20

Think About Us (Feat. Ty Dolla $ign) • 2nd Single
I don’t understand why the immediate thought is always “the label isn’t confident in them” when the more likely answer is “it’s a lot easier to throw out a remix than to schedule enough promo to build a post album single from the ground up”. It’s really not a big deal, just listen to the album version if you don’t like the remix. Half the radio stations will use that version anyway.

BRITS 2019 • Thread
In theory, sure, but in actuality I’m sure it takes longer than a day to actually pick a new single and set up all the promotion, radio and playlisting. I’m not an expert on these things but I’m sure that this process has already been started for Think About Us so I think it’s be a waste of time for them to redo it. Not to mention that with four members and the label to deal with, picking a new single at all could be difficult But honestly I don’t work in the industry so maybe it is as simple as emailing the radio execs and saying “hey, play The Cure it’s the next single from LM5”. I don’t see the point in switching (especially when the Think About Us performances have been so stellar and a big one at the Brits could really cement the songs hit status) but as long as we get an announcement this week or next, I don’t really care that much.

It’s too late to shelve anything. They need to push a single and they need to do it now. Seeing as it’s something they’ve “never done before” i’m assuming it’s gonna be a medley, and hopefully a pretty nice one at that. Not just Woman Like Me into Think About Us or something like that.
-
Think About Us (Feat. Ty Dolla $ign) • 2nd Single
I think that they’re not calling it a single yet because they plan to release the remix version and that’s when they’ll do the radio promo and the spotify playlisting
-
Think About Us (Feat. Ty Dolla $ign) • 2nd Single
This song isn’t even a single yet so I don’t know why anyone’s worried about whether it’s “catching on” yet. They performed it once a month ago with no single announcement. It hasn’t been sent to radio or impacted Spotify playlists and both the music video and rumored remix have yet to be released. Expecting the song to start smashing out of nowhere in this sales climate is just unrealistic.

Think About Us (Feat. Ty Dolla $ign) • 2nd Single
I still think it could come this week. If it doesn’t, that’s when I’ll start to panic.
