lol im not a 14 year old goffick. Im 18 and pretty much have an extremely varied taste in music. Im not afraid to say I like Andrew WK or Bullet for my Valentine. My guitar teacher says ill grow out of these few "embarassing" bands, I suppose hes right :P. Andrew WK is like the party songs, he just gets me going on a friday night lol. How long have u liked The Birthday Massacre grim?

I wasnt sure about this band at first and thought it was another emo scene. Its not though, theres a LOT of metal in there album "The Poison" and its just grew on me a lot. I think theyre pretty good right now. As long as they progress into metal in there next album and learn from there previous exploits, they will do well. If they start going down the Emo road, they will crumble after there next album :heart:

Ok look this is getting too far, im not spending half an hour a day replying to this topic. No matter what else came before, or after, fact is my favourite bands are Eisbrecher, Rammstein, Birthday Massacre and Rob Zombie. That means im listening to mostly industrial metal, and theres plenty more aswell. I think u listed KMFDM, I listen to them aswell. So I like industrial, but maybe not the industrial u like. Its like us both liking chocolate, but I prefer Rolos and you prefer Mars Bars.

I didnt say Industrial I said Industrial Metal. And I believe that mainstream, polished bands are way better for overall enjoyment than the "underground" or lesser known bands. Ive tried that scene, It was like trying to force myself to like it. I would rather listen to watered down, mainstream bands. You wouldnt, thats your opinion, I have my opinion. No-one is right here, its a difference of opinions. Are you saying just because my favourite genre is industrial metal that I have to listen to those shjtty bands you just listed? The answer is No. Skinny Puppy and Neubauten, i have listened to. Its not my thing. Eisbrecher, Rammstein, The Birthday Massacre & Rob Zombie is what I listen to. They are industrial metal, so how can u possibly say I dont like industrial metal you idiot. I like what I want to like, but true to what I said and the artists I just listed, I listen mostly to industrial metal.

Industrial metal is my favourite genre grim. dont judge me because i have a couple of bands that are out of the ordinary for someone like that. Sure I like Linkin Park, I was brought up listening to them. But my favourite genre is industrial metal, bands like Eisbrecher. NIN may have influenced these other industrial bands, but it doesn't mean theyre better than them. NIN are the experimental band. They try things out, and other bands perfect it. Thats the way I look at it. Why have a herbal tea to ease pain when you can take morphine. NIN, I thank you for ur ideas. But thats all.

The new track sounds amazing. Cant wait for the new album :)

Look, your all jumping on the bandwagon like a bunch of sheep. get a grip. the album is stop-start, it has no consistency, its just one annoying son of a bjtch of an album. Not one song catches in my head. Its totally c**p lol. Why anyone would like to listen to something that annoys you with its stop-start beats is beyond me. Every song starts with a synthesised drum beat. how original. it reminds me of Evanescences overused powerchords.

I think its an abomination and frankly an embarassment to Scottish football that theyre in the SPL. I wanted St Johnstone up this year. Whats Gretna actually going to bring to the top flight? NOTHING. c**p football, scrappy, low class, no flare, fat footballers and 50 fans. its horrendous.

I thought Machine Heads new album was "Aesthetics of Hate"? Anyway Trivium are not bad... just not bad. I agree with Grim though, Machine Head are the saviours of metal and they are incredibly under rated imo.

I wish Download would come back to Scotland again... *Sigh*. Anyway I really want to go now. Linkin Park (Yes im a metal head but I like them) are releasing a new album shortly and they will probably use Download to project the new songs, so I want to see that. Also, Machine Head are going... O.M.G. :D

Ok so theres a lot of stuff about NIN going about right now, what with the release of the new Album "Year Zero," and Tren Reznors new found confidence on stage due to him being off the booze and the drugs. But come on, they are frickin everywhere. I went into Tesco today and almost every music magazine had something, if not an entire front cover, about them. Personally I think they are overrated as hell. The music is extremely boring and lacks definitive high points in the songs. Its like being on a rollercoaster with no twists or turns. Its one long playing field from start to finish without anything to get you going. Does anyone else feel the same? or am I alone here? BTW just came back to this site. I forgot all about it for a few months lol :P

Songs for the deaf was good then they just sorta went downhill... hopefully this new one will be good. PS Dave Grohl should be the drummer again :angry:

Its not entirely the refs fault, the players are playing quite dirty. tbh I think the refs have been told not to be lenient this world cup and come down hard on foul play to erradicate it.

People like it so I dont see why it shouldnt be near the top.

I think Metal fans are only discriminated against if they look like the typical metal fan (black clothes, make up, long hair, smell etc). For example I listen to Metal NON STOP but I have short trimmed hair, smart clothes and I keep very clean. So people can get on with me and accept I listen to Metal, they dont even care.

Its Good he is releasing some more albums, it'll get his profile more mainstream if his work is good. That way I can download his material easier from P2P ;)

I prefer BBC because u dont get the annoying adverts at half time like u do on ITV. I like the ITV Team better though I think, Ally McCoist and Co :) BTW: Gabby Logan will not be presenting any matches, shes been pushed aside for some other guy, I dont know why :(

Is it really a reasonable explanation to Life that God created everything that exists? The bible is obviously flawed as scientific fact has proven that we evolved from single celled organism's, making it impossible for there to have been an Adam and an Eve. This brings the Bibles authenticity into question. It was written by men, therefore it may not be accurate or even true for that matter. Perhaps there is a Higher Being of some sort though... I'll wait to see what other peoples thoughts are before continuing..
