  1. I lowkey like the tracklist with first 7 tracks are new release song with track 8 being interlude as bridge since track 9 onwards to closing track being his released singles.

His album release a few weeks back help to reach it at least in subtle way.
  3. So this modification means label can't do the tricks to avoid ACR by putting tracks on 59p right?
  4. Yeah Ed SOY released just days after NYD 2017 proves the battlefield for major releases are now shifted from Q4 to Q1 in order for best placings in YEC and Q4 release are now facing disadvantages being overshadowed by holiday freeze with many streamed Christmas songs.
  5. I hope Wow not overtaken Sweet But Psycho yet at least until the latter reach #1, SBP is likely to miss #1 for two consecutive weeks.

  7. As said before Christmas hits would theoretically did the best when Christmas day was on Wed (2019 Christmas day on Wed btw) since this is the last day of the tracking week to have accurate streams data from Spotify, AM etc (Those streams data tend to be late getting into OCC so that's why we have missing streaming data on mid week update) and then OCC have to estimate Thursday streams in order to publish the latest chart Friday Afternoon on time. And even if Christmas fall on Wed does not mean 100% Mariah and other Christmas hits would get it, we need weak competition on other SCR tracks this time next year.
  8. It's so obvious Clean Bandit Rockabye are the best Christmas #1 of the decade.
  9. As many said LadBaby momentum would slow down throughout the time for this week and most of the Christmas song will have huge streaming despite on ACR so it wouldn't be #1 next week for sure.
  10. Super duper late on this. IMO Rudimental was famous for making DnB music so I'm glad they're back to their roots and this song was a bop.

Only 2 more hours for me to get listen this album. Aus and NZ should be able to listen by now. Edit 1: Edit 2:
  12. https://www.nztop40.co.nz/assets/Chart%20Ru...July%202018.pdf In conjunction of RMNZ revamped the chart, there's also some addition and amendment on the chart rules. I'll say their artist cap rule was better than the one did in the UK.
  13. Correction: 3 tracks per artist rule playing through.
  14. So ACR would be 1:200 and 1:1200 for subscription and ad-supported platform respectively right? Please correct me if I'm wrong. Also by now everyone should know this:
  15. http://www.officialcharts.com/chart-news/v...-summer__23211/ IRMA chart also subjected to have rule change like the inclusion of video streams to the singles chart, different streaming ratio for subscription and ad-funded, 3 tracks cap per artist and ACR so it's the same rules we've seen on UK OCC chart that will simultaneously implement on July 6 chart.
  16. I was gonna thought it would not gain any momentum outside Australia and New Zealand (Getting another #1 hit there). Thank goodness it pick up eventually and I'm glad this song start to be a hit smash worldwide.
  17. Happy first anniversary to the release of debut album.
  18. Yeah the short attention span on streaming cause the songs are getting shorter as opposed to 1950s/1960s where vinyl technology limitation at the time forced to made the song duration shorter. https://www.udiscovermusic.com/stories/short-is-sweet/amp/
  19. https://www.instagram.com/p/BiOaSPKFn6Y/?taken-by=dualipa Dua in HK.
  20. J. Cole have 5 new entries on the top 50, so I'm not sure we can assume the same thing happen for Post Malone given Universal Music distribute their material worldwide.

My 2018 #1s ranking so far: One Kiss Nice For What God's Plan These Days (Gap) River (Gap) The abomination
  22. Didn't Zedd have two top 5 singles there (Break Free and Starving), but yeah The Middle was his highest charting song as a lead artist.
  23. Is her album out on midnight for each timezone (Only less than 2 hours from now to reach NZ midnight) or UK midnight?
  24. Dua would tour around Asia on early May.
  25. J Cole dominated US & Canada Spotify and Avicii doing well on Sweden Spotify.
