  1. Even I Would Like sampled Sasha - Dat Sexy Body (Released in 1998) qGg9U3A2fgk
  2. Not looking forward for the FGL collaboration as well. Just watch this song will get promoted and overplayed worldwide in future. :puke2: Hopefully I'm wrong tho.
  3. Damn Slide and Issues should be making top 10 (Stay jump into top 15?) by now if the Ed-domination didn't happen. It's so weird that + not making re-entry on the album chart. Also I can't remember if + was still certified 4 times platinum by bow.
  4. Option 2 is the best solution on paper. I don't feel budget and technology are the main problem for OCC to execute Option 2 as the similar technology already been used in Nordic countries. The main problem would be time constraint instead because it need take time to identified the streaming figures and might causing OCC cannot published the full chart on Friday afternoon. Honestly I wouldn't be mind OCC revert back the full chart reveal on Sunday if OCC decide to use the Option 2 because: 1) They should have enough time to compiled the chart. 2) Not to mention Thursday stream are accurately compiled. 3) Radio 1 chart show back to the pre-July 2015 era. :kink:
  5. I'm fairly certain "Divide" would be straight away certified at least 2 times Platinum on chart debut week. If not, it will be happen on next few week chart.
  6. That's quite a long time for kiwi act to snatch the another #1 song. I think that week Spotify messed up because with the Global Release Day campaign from IFPI on early July 2015. (The month where Inside Out was #1)
  7. I would be very surprised if Shape of You overcome the huge sales lead from Green Light and hold #1 next week. Hoping the sales lead on Green Light can make it to #1 as the song was start falling on iTunes and Spotify. What was the last #1 song from Kiwi artist btw?
  8. Same thing happen on Ireland. Galway Girl topped the chart with the daily plays over 163K, probably broke the Irish daily play record as well. (Previous record was Shape Of You) :???:

"Divide" is now officially available on iTunes and Spotify for East Asian countries, Australia, and New Zealand.
  10. At least it was better than most of the post-Closer singles they released so far.
  11. It's pretty crazy that The Chainsmoker Closer was now certified 9 times platinum, (not to mention Uptown Funk was certified 13 times platinum so far) and thus I think the ARIA current certification threshold for singles (Gold - 35K, Platinum - 70K) was way too low for now especially with streaming market still growing up exponentially and streaming play was counted on singles accreditation. Do y'all have idea on how the suitable certification threshold for singles should be? Mine would be something like 70K-75K for Gold, and 140-150K for Platinum certification.

Prediction: I think we'll see more RnB Man this year since his major label debut album was selling well at this point. SOY and ÷ would take the #1 spot on the 2017 End Of Year singles and albums chart respectively.

Both Ed new singles was automatically getting the silver certification on debut week. :D
  14. Meanwhile in US, BAB was now a threat denying No.1 debut for Ed Sheeran Shape On You over there since BAB gain more sales and streams especially after the Golden Globe.
  15. Spotify Ireland (6.1.2017) 1 Shape of You - Ed Sheeran (137,039) 2 Castle on the Hill - Ed Sheeran (131,983) 3 Rockabye (feat. Sean Paul & Anne-Marie) - Clean Bandit (29,626) Can't recall any tracks that gathered over 100k daily play in Ireland, or maybe it was the record high in Spotify IE history. :0
  16. Too bad Million Reason and Hurts didn't get similar boost on Spotify. Apparently Rockabye are back to #1 on iTunes and now CB has been leading on both iTunes and Spotify for most of this Friday chart tracking days. Hopefully it can finally grab #1 this Friday and I would be surprised if 24K Magic or Starboy get #1 again since they're both fell behind on sales and streaming.
  17. Happy belated New Year for all. Hoping Rockabye could grab #1 this week before Ed and Major Lazer new song debut the chart.

    Don't forget Dua Lipa.
  19. I'm really happy to see Clean Bandit have another worldwide hit under the belt after the debut single Rather Be. Hopefully Clean Bandit, Anne-Marie, and Sean Paul (Surprisingly Sean Paul hasn't get any NZ chart topper song yet :o) can get their first NZ #1 next week but CB would face big competition from Bruno Mars for the next week as 24K Magic has significant lead over Rockabye on iTunes but 24K Magic have lower streaming value so it might neutralized the iTunes lead. Would be very surprised to see Starboy still managed to hold #1 next week because it currently lack behind on iiTunes and only have <5K daily play lead on Spotify. I think next week top 3 singles would be Rockabye, 24K Magic, and Starboy in any order.
  20. That's why they (especially on the Southern Hemisphere nation like Aus and NZ) modified the Christmas songs: hlSsffF2xhA QmfIfqZc-jE lmao the Air NZ this year Christmas campaign is hilarious.
  21. This is weird to see Starley Call On Me disappeared from the top 50 despite the song (The more popular Ryan Riback remix) made top 10 on both iTunes and Spotify.
  22. The charity single overtake again at this moment but both songs still pretty close to each other on iTunes. But yeah next week... I mean this Friday would be pretty interesting to see where it'll debut. I suspect a top 10 debut at least due to high sales, and would be very surprised to see it debut at #1 considering a) it have such minimal streams b) The current top 10 singles have significant streams to overcome. It's surprised to see Drake Fake Love never make an appearance on the top 40 despite it have significant streams on Spotify. Maybe it would debut upon his upcoming project released on this weekend.
  23. The inclusion of Everybody's Talkin in the Now 70's doesn't make sense at all despite Everybody's Talkin was one of his signature hits. They should include "Without You" instead (Another Nilsson signature hits released in late 1971 and Mariah Carey eventually cover the song) if they really want to featured Harry Nilsson.

  25. Do you have any idea on this song: LXbjiaKJQjY This charity single was #1 on iTunes NZ since it's last Friday release. No where to be seen on Spotify top 200 tho.
