Caroline Polachek 'Pang'
This is excellent, been enjoying it a lot since hearing it on Annie Mac's show.
-
Diana Gordon - Becoming
Her vocal on "Why Hide" is gorgeous, so different to her classic "Dirty Talk"! (And former guilty pleasure, "Sugar" with Flo Rida, but I didn't say that)

What's your favourite band/artist of the past decade?
Hiyaluv actually more or less bang on it there I think!

Spotify Chart Thread [September 2019]
Hope you’re right tho

Halsey - MANIC
Possibly one of the most overrated popular artists of the decade from all I’ve heard. A lot of pretentious garbage. She is lovely though.

Bombay Bicycle Club - Everything Else Has Gone Wrong
"Eat, Sleep, Rave, Repeat (Nothing But You)" is growing on me with every listen. Looking forward to more :D also forgot how much I enjoyed "Feel" and "Carry You" and the last album.

Hayley Ross - Tumbledown
Anybody else into this? Stunning song - been listening to it a lot for the past couple of months, all after a Shazam whilst watching Orange Is The New Black! Was fresh out in July. lO_IAsdPJpI

Foals - Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost - Part 2
Enjoying "Black Bull" increasingly and "The Runner" too, and this is also a nice release. Foals have been a revelation this year.

why are itunes and spotify so different
Another reason is that iTunes downloads are a one off while Spotify streams are recyclable.

blink-182 - Nine
For me it's "I Really Wish I Hated You", "Pin The Grenade" and "No Heart To Speak Of" - 3 back to back gems!
-
blink-182 - Nine
Really enjoyed it on first listen; it feels the most cohesive album since their heyday though subsequently also the most commercial sounding. Can definitely see this getting repeated listens.

Dave - Psychodrama
Oh wow I had no idea this had been nominated let alone the prize was tonight  Deserved though. Seriously think that out of all of the crap that has clogged up the charts this past year, Dave has been the most deserving of the reflected success and is the shining light of fresh UK talent. This album is great.

blink-182 - Nine
1. Listening to a lot of blink this week in anticipation of the new album! 3 10/10 albums on the trot - "Enema Of The State", "Take Off Your Pants And Jacket" and "blink-182" is no mean feat! 2. I think "I Really Wish I Hated You" is my favourite of the 5 tracks released from "NINE", I get "Stay Together For The Kids" feels from it...

Vampire Weekend - Father of the Bride
Really liking "Stranger" while "This Life" has had a lot of longevity for me. Must give the album another listen soon as I haven't since it first came out.

The Lumineers - III
Preferring to listen to this without the 3 bonus tracks for now in its proper form as three chapters. With chapters 1 and 2 (first 6 tracks) having been made available over the past few months, there was only 4 to add. It's a decent album - I think "Cleopatra" on the whole is better, but I can see myself giving "III" repeated enough listens. "Gloria" and "Donna" are my favourites along with "Life In The City" and "It Wasn't Easy To Be Happy For You". Love the vocal as always. One of my very favourites. Love their vibe, so chilled out, easy for me to put on whilst I get on with work.

United Kingdom · Eurovision Song Contest 2020
Promising news. Lucie Jones with something along the lines of "Shady Lady" (with Mark Ronson "Late Night Feelings" album style production) I'd enjoy after the past few years...

Adele - 30
Cold Shoulder and that duet she did with Daniel Merriweather perhaps, at a guess!
-
Tones and I - Dance Monkey
Think it’s a decent little pop bop but the vocal renders it almost unlistenable. Perhaps with a number of listens it’ll become bearable. Worked with Lewis Capaldi on certain songs...

blink-182 - Nine
That's what I mean though - your taste would've suited that time perfectly. And you might've (definitely would've) appreciated earlier blink more :P
-
blink-182 - Nine
With all due respect you just weren’t alive when they were at their peak (and I’m so damned jealous tbf) Dude you’d have LOVED being your age back then!
-
blink-182 - Nine
On the whole I’m enjoying what’s been released so far but there’s one ingredient missing... Tom DeLonge. It’s weird hearing new Angels & Airwaves material at the same time. It’s like, please merge  And no Who the new stuff is nowhere near the quality of their peak! In the words of Mr Garrison "I mean JEEZ"

Jonas Blue & HRVY - Younger
In what universe?

PNAU thread
Will add that to my playlist and get around to listening to it. Couldn't get massively into "Solid Gold" for some reason.
-
The 1975 - Notes on a Conditional Form
It's a bloody racket on first listen
-
Hannah Laing - Murder On The Dancefloor
She responded to my Insta comment on a video of Fisher playing this and said it'll be released soon so watch this space :D
