  1. I loved that Honeyz song

Cool, I was thinking it might be "Obey" otherwise. The whole album is great though. "Love Song" has spent 4 weeks at no.1 in my chart and "Therapy" is simultaneously top 10 and still climbing. What a great era for Duke.
  3. Enjoyed the album more on 2nd listen, there are just so so many tracks to take in, on top of some singles that on the most part I couldn't get into (though "If You're Too Shy" is clicking with me a lot more than the others have). Hope they do beat KSI to number 1, but more to the point, I'm curious to see how they'll perform in week 2 after the previous album had that humongous drop from the top 1 back in 2018!! Though that was in the run up to Christmas, if that even means anything anymore...
  4. I'm in this boat too. Had a listen this afternoon... I mean it was alright, but the standout tracks here would never have been singles on the previous 2 albums for a start. I found myself enjoying the instrumentals more than a lot of the tracks with vocals. All in all, it was long, and dull, really. Will give it a listen again tomorrow and see if my opinion changes.
  5. This is a good pop song, was recommended it a couple of weeks ago. It seems to have come out of the blue doesn't it
  6. 3 great songs to start - though doesn't "Rise" by Gabrielle count? (One of my all-time favourite songs  )
  7. "Mirage" definitely easily my least favourite of the collection so far too, but it's still good
  8. Had a listen to this on Friday, I was disappointed - not because it was bad, but because it went totally over my head. When I first heard "Simmer" I was impressed, but after a few weeks I started feeling irritated whenever it shuffled on, and nothing else has stuck. The album bored me to no end. I might give it another shot over the coming week because I'm surprised that this is how I felt.
  9. I can't keep up

Who was the first Lil to get to number 1... Lily Allen?
  11. Nooo the original "Forever" is gorgeous! My favourite on the album by far! In fact, one of my favourite of theirs all-time. When I saw 'Garage Version' on the release schedule I was thinking, how on earth will this sound on a garage remix, then played it and it was ... not a 'garage' remix  A good version though, I do like it.
  12. 2 listens isn't enough for me to rank "Save A Kiss" yet but I'd guess I will be rinsing it over the coming months and it could very well rank at the top. My ranking without would be: (0. Overtime) 1. Adore You 2. Spotlight 3. Ooh La La 4. Mirage (Don't Stop) Mirage being the only one I haven't been fussed on, though still like.

This was good on first listen. Mav seems to be popping up here and there as a feature a fair amount recently.
  14. Decent on first listen. Jem Cooke feels like she could be the next Becky Hill.
  15. Wouldn't say it's the worst thing Ariana's ever done but it doesn't do much for me. Though it's hard to judge as I generally find Bieber's vocals so whiny and grating - though on a great song (i.e. "Sorry") it doesn't seem to matter.
  16. This is gonna be a good album! (Even better if Overtime was included. NOT OVER IT YET. And pretending that I can't just add it on to the end myself :D )
  17. Think I've only caught "My Oh My"; doing good without DaBaby so far :D Also the same for Lil Baby.
  18. I'm liking this one too Bré, will be a nice album opener
  19. This clears so much confusion of references to this over the past few months up
  20. I can't bring myself to, out of choice, listen to a song by someone who has named themselves "DaBaby"
  21. And don't get most of us started on Anne-Marie...

This show definitely seems like Marmite! We watched this a few weeks ago after some recommendations, and whilst we were intrigued enough to watch it through, we also thought it was poorly written, poorly acted (somehow, given there's a great cast) - it felt like Doctors had been turned into a feature series. Oh well. Just saw this though and actually a great explanation as to why it felt poorly acted:
  23. "Carry Yourself" is the best thing they've released since album 2!
  24. A couple of years ago it felt like every other song was called "Friends"
  25. Well I've heard it 2 or 3 times and enjoyed it more than the other singles from the album, though I can't actually remember how it goes now I'm trying to remember. It has all felt so beige up to this point, like they've become a parody of themselves. Will see if this new one turns into one I love.
