I think Lewis is a great songwriter - it’s his vocal that’s the problem! I think SYL would be number 1 right now with a less strenuous vocalist. Dave is also a great songwriter I think which makes him stand out amongst his peers.

I don’t think either song deserved a week at the top :lol:

This is quite nice actually! Nothing standout but one of their best entries to date at ease. They often send us a load of tat!

The choreography is ace! The backing is ace! Though (not that it’s a bad thing) it reminds me a lot of Asanda - Legends. The vocals I’m a bit unsure of. But it definitely has impact. They mustn’t pull her out! It’s so much better than last year as well.

This is decent enough though takes its time to get into it. Surprised to see him going for participation again so soon.

Really nice on first listen! Can see this doing very well. It could even win the thing.

Still following this and enjoying it!! Glad it's back! Shame to see "Blackbird" go so soon. To be honest I wasn't sold on it - until I saw it in the semi final where I found it captivating. I forgot that Croatian entry existed, was it really only last year?? Same with Malta last year! Completely agree on both accounts. Actually surprised these are higher than some entries you've given more praising comments to. I also feel Andy Abraham was a little underrated - completely agree with everything you said about it. It was dated, tbf, but at least it was catchy. It suffered mostly I'd think from being on 2nd (I think) and being dated, and we weren't exactly having our most successful period (which still hasn't ended) - still way better than Josh Dubovie though :lol: ALSO agree re: Jade! I think the main reasons this performed so well were that the performance of it was professional, and featured Andrew Lloyd-Webber. I think Europe actually had some respect for us for once. Same when we sent Blue. Our 2 best placing entries since we finished 3rd. Molly deserved better, though!!! I think I like Flor-de-Lis, forgotten how it goes though...!

Oh lord this is woeful. Though Ghost was worse.

Disagreed on who you've picked out, but it really was a rubbish year on the whole for music (mainstream wise)

"2 Faced" aside I was never that fussed. Surprised at the low sales of that, "Stuck In The Middle" and "Naked" (which aren't bad either) though!

Given the success of "Paradise" by George Ezra, I really thought "Pink Lemonade" had what it takes to become a hit, with the right push. Alas it wasn’t meant to be. Really liked the album in the end after not being sure at first.

Pink Lemonade was one of my tracks of 2018, excellent song. Looking forward to more.

Fair is fair, has the potential for me too. Could this do a Portugal 2017 I wonder?

Hmmm! Quite enjoyed the production of "On A Sunday" but her diction isn't great. Might sound better sung in Romanian. Quite haunting.

Definitely agree on the 'oversinging' whether it's a female with a fantastic, powerful voice overdoing it, or a guy with a husky gravelly voice overdoing it. Think the difference is I'd still not be able to stand James Arthur if he wasn't overdoing it, whereas Christina and Jessie can sound great when not overdoing it.

His voice went right through me & my other half... it was painful!! :lol:

I did love the staging from the live performance, they could expand on that. Could be captivating!
