Hmmm just a bit dull really

Slovenia (EMA) · Eurovision Song Contest 2019
This is a cool, understated little entry. Hope it pays off for them.

Your least favourite vocals in music
James Arthur! The most hard to listen to vocal for me this year has been Courtney Act on "Fight For Love" though, every time it shuffled on I wanted to hurl my body down a hill in pursuit of a wheel of cheese.

Top 25 biggest selling Love Ballads
JTWYA I guess I can understand because of its tempo, but what about "That's My Goal" stops it from being a ballad??? Disgraceful to see Robson & Jerome and Gareth Gates versions of "Unchained Melody" above the actual good version by Righteous Brothers -_-

Foals - Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost - Part 1
Really liking "Exits" now, playing it a lot! "On The Luna" is decent enough on first listen too.

MARINA ‘LOVE + FEAR’
The new one went over my head a bit on first listen. Her first lead single to do so. I’m sure I’ll be giving it more listens to grow though. Used to love her.

Jessie Ware - Adore You
Overtime was with James Ford as well wasn’t it? Sounded good on first listen, looking forward to giving it many more!
-
CamelPhat x Cristoph feat. Jem Cooke - Breathe
Do we know if an ‘original’ or extended mix of this will be released? Surprised there isn’t one. Maybe Beatport will have one but not streamable.

Avril Lavigne - Head Above Water
After a pretty decent comeback in "Head Above Water", this new one pretty damned atrocious. Sounds like it could've been written by (and for) a 10-year-old. Oh dear :(

CamelPhat x Cristoph feat. Jem Cooke - Breathe
Willing for this to be top 40 this week. My current personal chart number 1.

Jessie Ware - Adore You
After the excellent Overtime I’m definitely gunned to hear something more.
-
Lewis Capaldi - Someone You Loved
This is a nice song, such a shame he sounds like the lovechild of James Arthur and Eric Cartman. Still will take this any day over a lot of the popular garbage these days.

Stereophonics - Chaos From The Top Down
Back already? :o Loved the lead from the last album - a number 1 in my chart nonetheless! Looking forward to hearing this.

2018/2019 Premier League
Utterly embarrassing. I really can’t see Sarri lasting now. As a fan of Chelsea I have no idea what to think or who I’d want in. I used to fancy Joachim Löw for the job.

Finland (UMK) · Eurovision Song Contest 2019
Quite liked that on first listen though it’s not what I wanted from Darude. I was expecting something Alesso-like tbf.
-
United Kingdom (You Decide) · Eurovision Song Contest 2019
With all of our musical heritage this is the best we can come up with. It’s beyond embarrassing these days. ITV should take over.

Australia (Australia Decides) · Eurovision Song Contest 2019
Oh lord just had a watch/listen, horrific! 😳

Russia · Eurovision Song Contest 2019
"You Are The Only One" was one of the highlights of 2016 so hoping for something just as great. Also loved doing it on karaoke too! Surprisingly a lot harder to sing than you'd think, and when you take into consideration everything he was doing on stage as well, that was a great performance. He's very talented.

iTunes Weekly Thread W/C 1st February 2019
The "top 5 most weeks in the top 10" thing is a bit harder to use these days seeing as without ACR that stat would be completely different, but it did well to avoid ACR for all that time. And it was undoubtedly massive, number 1 in the US, and I think Australia too.

Maroon 5 - Red Pill Blues
That wasn't my problem with it, I didn't even realise that  I just found it really underwhelming, and the rap moments really didn't go with it. It just didn't make sense. Also disappointed nothing from "It Won't Be Soon Before Long" was performed (that I remember). Adam's vocal wasn't too great either. The whole thing kind of smacked of arrogance.
