I can't bring myself to, out of choice, listen to a song by someone who has named themselves "DaBaby"

And don't get most of us started on Anne-Marie...

This show definitely seems like Marmite! We watched this a few weeks ago after some recommendations, and whilst we were intrigued enough to watch it through, we also thought it was poorly written, poorly acted (somehow, given there's a great cast) - it felt like Doctors had been turned into a feature series. Oh well. Just saw this though and actually a great explanation as to why it felt poorly acted:

"Carry Yourself" is the best thing they've released since album 2!

A couple of years ago it felt like every other song was called "Friends" :lol:

Well I've heard it 2 or 3 times and enjoyed it more than the other singles from the album, though I can't actually remember how it goes now I'm trying to remember. It has all felt so beige up to this point, like they've become a parody of themselves. Will see if this new one turns into one I love.

Maybe we should ask Bjork? :D

I wonder if when you take novelty/charity songs out of the equation, would the top 10 then be much more mixed? (If you consider Cher and Madonna as examples)

I like the new track - while not a standout (well, it is a grat rather than a single), it still packs in the quality. I get a French disco vibe from it.

This was my reaction as well, enjoying it then that rap... :mellow: Also not sure I was keen on how the voices blended together. In terms of big ensemble hits, "Perfect Day" was iconic for literally showcasing each vocal on its own, and there were some in particular who you knew who they were without having to see the video! :D

I think it'll go to number 1 if it does.

Given it a couple of listens, not feeling it's anything special yet.

This always was, and still is, utter garbage.

"Honey" has so much depth, it took a number of listens but then it clicked and have been in love ever since. Great song only topped (slightly) by "With Every Heartbeat" and "Dancing On My Own" for me.

I genuinely think "Love Song" off of this album is the best thing he's ever done, and one of the best dance tracks of the past few years. He may not be able to have commercial success in the charts like he initially did but he's killing it in quality terms.

Reading their Insta post: "Looking forward to 2020! We’ve all been working on new music, can’t wait to share it with you! Hope you have the best new year! xx The xx" - I think it means they've all been working on side projects.

Please give her recent album "Honey" a listen! The track "Honey" in particular :wub: I think "Human Being", and "Baby Forgive Me" coupled with "Send To Robin Immediately" are my other highlights on it.

Oh he's released it this week after all! For some reason I thought this was out on the 24th and hadn't sought it out to listen.

He was featured on Avicii's 2018 EP - the track "You Be Love": M0X3jVSVzao Wasn't my favourite on the EP but was still good :)

That's the point, either you pay for the song and it counts as 1 whole sale, or you stream up to the total of 1 whole sale. Unless I've misunderstood/things have changed. Nobody should be contributing more than 1 sale, though as always there are ways around it.

Once you've purchased the song, listening to that song does not count as a stream.

Robyn played this to close off her CLUB DOMO set last night and it really sounded great, really clicked on that listen. Coincidentally my vinyl for "In Colour" delivered the same day this dropped :D

This is a really good album. "Love Song" in particular is such a highlight, one of the best dance tracks in recent years I think.
