Can't wait for their album, if it's quality I hope it does return them to the top :D Was the last one "First Impressions Of Earth" in 2006? Dua deserves the number 1 album this week, a good sophomore pop album, though I'm surprised at its sales so far and it even potentially needing obsolete formats to get to 1 this week.

  3. "Waiting All Night" then "Came Here For Love" which were both excellent for me, then I guess "Gravity", nothing else worth writing home about.
  4. Nice job Dua and Little Mix's new one is actually decent for the first time in ages 😱
  5. Just listened, not at all what I was expecting! It's a largely instrumental album, very electronic/new age. Was good to have on in the background.
  6. Reading through this has reminded me just how many of all of these I really liked/loved  "Don't Hold Your Breath" is my favourite of all of them, apart from possibly "Don't Cha", they'd be my top 2 anyway - and "Buttons" would certainly be up there too. "Come To Me" with P Diddy SO LOW :o LOVED that!
  7. Agree on the Swedish songs so far; "Too Late For Love" was certainly my favourite since "Undo" ("Heroes" was a tad too formulaic for me to love it). Also "City Lights" is possibly top 5 on record of the decade for me, but the performance felt so lacklustre. Still pleased it scored well but just think of how it could've fared with a killer performance?
  8. "How Deep Is Your Love" was too excellent not to go for, but "Places", "Favela" and "Breathe" are also top draw!
  9. My most listened to album of the week so far, particularly enjoying its vibe whilst working from home with the sun shining through the windows.
  10. Does "Holiday" not count? "Bonkers" nonetheless!
  11. "At The Door" is now my favourite by The Strokes since "You Only Live Once" and up there with my very favourites by them. Fab. Wonder when a third track will be released, only a few weeks to album release?

Have any of you heard the Swedish original by Veronica Maggio?
  13. Hatari say hi!
  14. I'm still gobsmacked "Ride It" was as big as it was! Same with Joel Corry's "Lonely" now. While some great and mainstream enough sounding dance is really slipping by next to unnoticed. I am pretty surprised this has made it all the way to the top, but it's pretty cool. Quite a varied list of number 1s this year so far. Definitely a much stronger start than the average of 2019.
  15. I reckon the kind of people who'd stream a concert online are the kind of people who'd stream the song on a streaming platform, so probably not the iTunes boost but maybe Spotify, etc
  16. Quite enjoying this album on first listen, really suited to a Saturday morning!
  17. Seems a little bit too coincidental though given they've also removed the song prematurely from the playlist...
  18. Meh, it happens time and time again with anyone who's popular/mainstream.
  19. Seems odd to completely pretend the Sam Smith song doesn't exist. It doesn't really do anything for me, but it feels like double standards when "Death Bed" was just a few songs before. Be interesting to see what happens with "No Time To Die" in a bit.
  20. Great for Harry to grab another top 20 hit from the album, he's having much better success this time around (though I still think "Sign Of The Times" is his best!) The album is good, I've been enjoying it quite a bit over the past few weeks.
  21. Liking "Tequila" actually, quite different to the previous Europa collab.
  22. I dunno, it is a bit shouty and at the edge of (or just outside) her range, which I think is very Lewis
  23. The new Rita is alright, but "I Will Never Let You Down", "Anywhere" and "Let You Love Me" among others are just a fair bit better for me! (Those 3 in particular stand out alongside "Hot Right Now")

I couldn't disagree more! Easily the worst year since 2011. Different strokes and all that! Though 2011 was very unpredictable I think for that reason - I agree 2020 would've been.
