  1. Probably stating the obvious here, but is last.fm still a reliable platform for keeping listening stats? I mean, I know of no other that is as sophisticated as last.fm is, but the site and app are poorly maintained, and they don’t move with the times and embrace new technologies. I listen to my music on so many different devices that I simply can’t keep an accurate record of my scrobbles as many are omitted when I sync to last.fm.

Anyone else relate to this? It may be the reason you stopped using the service, but I know many still do, so it must work then.

Yeah I know what you mean. There is something I do to 'counterbalance' it. Last year when iTunes updated to 12.7.3 the scrobbler stopped working with it, so they built an emergency scrobbler to replace it until they fixed the issue, which I installed. I then forgot about it and a few weeks later realised it was scrobbling again - except scrobbling from both places. I've left it like that because I feel those 'double' plays (it scrobbles twice about 70-80% of the time) make up for every time I hear the song elsewhere but it doesn't scrobble. It's all a rough estimate really these days, not accurate, but what will be anymore?

80, and it was #10 in my chart which gave it 31, giving a total of 111, it really is quite a low point threshold to get into the multichart but of course great to see Avicii sneak in there.

Could be on the rise in the next chart then - depending on where it is for you as well - as I'm sure I saw it at number 5 in another chart (PeteFromLeeds perhaps?) this week and has managed 2 weeks @ 1 for both Dexton and I.

Omg so I would’ve won if this was Pointless?

    Slay

As I told you when you tried to do this when I hosted Pointless, you'd have come last with 12 x 100 points so no... really really unfunny btw.

I seem to have done okay; started off so well! I tried too hard to be right on the 'lord' song as I'd initially thought "God's Plan" and forgot they don't *have* to be right

And also DERP at Lil Dicky being a really obvious, recent one hit wonder!!

Sorry I'm late to this Pete btw!!

  4. I lowkey hope we get 0 but then that fuels all the "we'll never win or do well because everyone hates us because of brexit!1!!1" brigade :drama: It's because the song is average af, it's not terrible but let's be real it's a mediocre at best effort and it's a miracle if it gets above bottom 3, especially performing in the first half.

I'm kind of feeling the same 🙈🙈

I'd agree if Norway hadn't such an embarrassing trainwreck and Iceland hadn't drawn from the reject bin of Shayne Ward's debut album but I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks it's awful

As it goes I had Serbia placed 40th above Norway and Iceland (and Romania) before my latest top 43 update... so we're pretty much on a similar wavelength here!!

  5. Great top 2 again - checked out "La Cintura" after seeing it high in your chart & on Spanish iTunes - what a tune! I can definitely see myself listening to that a lot this summer.

Particularly great to see "Live In The Moment" re-enter at 12! How did that fare for you first time around? It made number 1 in my chart last month - love it.

  6. Taylor really should have binned the entirety of 'reputation.', cause none of it sounds any good :drama:

Oh come on. On the whole yes it's a MASSIVELY disappointing step down from "1989", but "Delicate" is excellent. "Gorgeous" was nice too. The other singles have been okay though really not up to her standard.

"Delicate" though  that one actually feels like continuity from "1989".

The latest latin urban smash, "X" by Nicky Jam & J Balvin. Catchy, think it'll be a grower. Doesn't hit me like "Mi Gente" did on first listen though. But definitely infectious. There's also a Spanglish version out.
