That's how I feel. It hasn't really grabbed me at all. I'm not sure I'm enjoying this style of vocal right now though. Too poppy for me.

I'd prefer Duffy over Steps (though thought Duffy had 'retired' from mainstream life as she hates it hence why we never hear from her), and tbf Mabel would be a decent send even though I've never been fussed on her. Kylie is a possibility too actually, saw her name mentioned, I think she would now. Imagine ROBYN though :wub:

Good choice! "I Can Hardly Speak", "Good Day" and "I Worry Bout You" I think would also be good choices. This is a great album, my favourite of albums released this year so far (of the ones I've heard).

Thanks Dan My thinking is similar to LMLou's - though a better quality song than "I Don't Care" may hold more attention. That said that isn't exactly how it works in reality :P

Excited for this, I don't get excited for too many releases these days. "Overtime" and "Adore You" were real 10/10s though "Mirage (Don't Stop)" never ended up really exciting me, though I still enjoy it somewhat. Think it'll be better in an album context. I also hope all 4 of these songs will be part of an album!! It has been an incredible start so far!

How quickly did "I Don't Care" drop off? I'm guestimating Billie's figures to maybe half over the next week.

I like it but I don't think it'll spend that long at the top to be honest. I don't think it'll fall as fast as Sam Smith's did though.

:o I was only thinking this past week that "Call Me Lover" and maybe even "You're Not The Only One" and "Leave Fast" would've made good singles. I can't keep up with what was released pre-"That Sound" though :lol: "Hold On" is alright, I can see why it was missed off. What a great first era anyway, I'm totally into it now.

On the last listen I realised part of the song was actually in French after all :lol: But it should ALL be! That said it fits the English just as well this time. Songs like "5 Dollars" and "The Walker" lost their charm in English I felt.

Quite liked this on first listen, looking forward to a French version though, as per many of you already. I listened to "Chris" in French whenever I listened to it, so much better for me. Hearing the songs in English on Radio 1 sounded wrong!

I literally screamed at how amazing this was last night. I'd had a fair few tequilas and stuff but don't think I've ever done that before :lol: Both were amazing, Shakira was the highlight for me because I literally love her. Need to see her live. Would love it if they toured together.

Yeah I quite enjoyed on first listen, will give it more! "If You Think This Is Real Life" is going to take some getting used to though with that chorus :lol:

Some absolutely fantastic records in here and some I don't think I've ever heard! Not many I'd say I don't like. Tempted to turn it into a playlist on Apple Music to see what I've missed out on. Looking forward to seeing the albums.

I really quite like this on first listen actually, if it's a grower then I'll end up loving it. I don't tend to take much notice on first listens so this is promising.
