I remember Katy fans overjoyed when Joanne, a pop-country album, reached no.3 on the Albums chart instead of no.1 despite PI having no real impact here, hmm. I can't say Witness is a good album (Hey Hey Hey and CTTR are the only salvageable tracks) but I still reckon she'll make the top 10, top 5 if she's lucky. With Lorde and Lana releasing the next charting week, I can't imagine her staying another week in the top 10. Hope London Grammar cling on to number 01, so glad they're back!!

I wish Peppermint just left, she's admiring but she's not on the same level as the other girls for me. Ru probably just pulled that to win a second emmy, felt so unnecessary if I'm honest. Happy with whoever wins, but I do think Shea's got it in the bag although I'd equally love the others to knab it too.

I agree, I think Peppermint will leave. Her runway looks have been far too sloppy for a queen who has been doing drag for so long, especially compared to these younger queens who are far more refined, polished and aware of their brand. I think Shea is the most obvious to win, but would love to see Trinity steal the crown. Also I really want Nina and Valentina for AS3, they really were the backbone of the show. Not that I don't love it, I do but they were just so endearing.

That was one of my favourite episodes of not just the season but of all time! Loved Sasha and Shea's runway looks, they both deserved to win! The right person went home, should of left weeks ago.

WTH Applause is great and the perfect lead from Artpop! I chose the TC only because there's only great songs left and TC is cute, but it is nowhere near as epic as Marry The Night or Bad Romance.

Surely they could of pre-recorded the performance and then done the Manchester gig. I'm not going to lie I am slightly disappointed about them missing BGT but I think it makes more sense for them to take the Manchester gig! Power has placed in the top 40 today at 27. Making it their 17th single to reach the top 40, yet their lowest charting single so far.

this reminds me of Ribs and White Teeth Teens, but I still prefer Green Light! Excited for the album mind.

PI peaked at 12 which now has overall sales of around 98k - 105k. Whereas TC may have peaked lower at 19, but has spent 7 weeks in the top 40 alone which I think is more than PI actually spent in the top 100 and so far has sold 140k. MR has sales of 154k but failed to peak higher than 39. TC should be Silver by the end of the summer.

I'm all here for the artwork and video this Friday, coinciding for me leaving college! Yes! But they need to stop with the features, I quite like Stormzy so I would of rather they left NMSS off Machine Gun Kelly, I always listen to the album version anyway and Stormzy is far more well known in the UK at least than Machine Gun Kelly, who just comes off as cringe most of the time. They could of achieved the same chart position without him but what's done is done, here for the video and think the snippet sounds better than expected!

One of her best friend's Sonja has just died from breast cancer, Gaga has referenced this in interviews a lot and was at her wedding a couple of weeks ago. 'Grigio Girls' from Joanne is about how Gaga and her/Sonja's friends would meet up and cry about the situation, not trying to get upset in front of Sonja. This may not seem relevant to this thread, but I think it will affect the likelihood of her promoting the song and even possibly premiering a video soonish, as it would be really ill-timed. Before I was hoping she'd maybe fill a BGT Live show date or sing The Cure on The Voice France, but much like Bowie's death I think due to her closeness with Sonja, Gaga will want to mourn in private and understandably so. However it's great to see her B-listed and top 5 on the UK Airplay charts! It's halfway to a silver certification (102.5k units sold in the UK so far) which is pretty impressive without a video/promo/secure top 10 placing and considering also how the UK received Joanne. Hope she can keep this up! I can't get enough of this song!

It's done fine, I don't understand what all the fuss is about. It will pass 300k and become certified Gold over time. They didn't promote it at all so to receive a top 15 peak is great especially within the streaming era for a post-release single. Hopefully with Power they'll have a chance to promote it and secure another hit.

Do you think with it certified they might push it as a fifth single? I'd prefer Private Show but I can see why they might release it now all the main tracks have been released and it's certified already. I imagine if Power doesn't struggle, they stand a good chance of another top 20/30 placing.
