out of the top 30 this week.. but hell it was successful over the last 6 months.. selling OVER 1.7 million copies.. if they want to crack the 2 million than they need to release a tour special edition with 2-3 new songs.. its amazing how they sold almost as many albums over the last 3 years than what they've sold in 14 years prior to their comeback. Just unreal if we think about it, they sold well over 5 million albums in the uk since 2005.. counting hard sales only.

TT are the uk's biggest selling band since 2006! They sold OVER 4 million albums (only albums) since 2006 2.5m from bw and 1.5m from the circus (which will end up with 2m i guess). there's no U2 coming even close to them (or coldplay though i love coldplay) worldwide they sold 7 million albums since their comeback: 1.5m for never forget, 3.5m for bw, 2m for the circus! Just compare this to other artists who doesn't sell in either europe or the us..

Green Man is a brilliant album, i always loved the singles off it.. i just bought the album 2 weeks ago, because i really wanted to support this piece of work. Open road: was the best past TT album! Love won't wait, forever love and the title track ware fantastic songs. I wished it would have sold more, so that the great public realises how good this album really is (same goes for green man) 12 months, 11 days: that was the 2nd solo album by gary and it's def. not as good as the previous one. But it has some very nice track, i bought this album 1 week ago. i didn't follow marks solo career over the years, but he was and still is a brilliant performer, singer and songwriter.

what matters these days are album sales only.. no one looks at single performances. their last album went platinum (200.000) so i hope the circus gets at least gold (100.000). They used to be so popular in germany during the 90's, what happened? The music's still great, but they haven't visited germany so much with the circus (though the BW Tour was a mega success)

yeah the singles market belongs to hardcore fans now.. but there are also singles prized for 3 euros.. i see a top 20 position for the garden in germany, that was a wonderful performance!

i think its still successful for up all night to go top 15 in the UK. said it all and the garden are the super hits off this record.

in germany the charts are not compiled through singles or album sales but per gross revenue. so the most expensive CD will debut at #1 even when it sold less than others..(the charts are done with this method since 2007 i think)

UAN won't sell near 200k, maybe 150k... i cannot wait for the garden as the 3rd single.. THAT is the best song since RTW

Mariah is the most successful artist on def jam.. why leaving? she sold 8 million albums just with her def jam albums in the US.. Her SONY released records this century: Greatest Hits (1.1m) REmixes (0.260m) and Ballads (0.05m) have done really been successes.. and not to mention Virgin: Glitter (0.6m). + Mariahs digital singles sold amazingly well too only Def Jam releases: 4.500.000 digital singles. (+1.3m for AIWFCIY) Mariahs total record sales 00's: 30.000.000 (21.000.000 albums and 9.000.000 singles)

its #15 this week in UK.. only 7 weeks inside the top 10.. i hope this album breaks 2.000.000, btw beautiful world is still charting (high)

the circus chartrun in germany: 51/2008 - 14 52/2008 - 31 53/2008 - 31 01/2009 - 30 02/2009 - 33 03/2009 - 51 The Circus will end up with 100,000 and gold in germany, they have now sold at least 50,000 copies.. so far Beautiful world was certified platinum for having sold 200,000 copies.. they really need to visit germany and perform on shows.. in 2006 they were everywhere in germany.. greatest day wasn't really a good single choice there are somuch better songs on this album

mariah became better in time. her alltime career peak (musically) was 1997 butterfly had the best ballads and midtempo songs.. emc² is her second best album ever.. mariahs best music can be heard on butterfly emc² emotions teom

the whole emc² era wasn't that successful in 2008 in UK.. I mean back in 2005 Mariah sold over a million albums got 2 double platinum albums.. and emc² only sold 120,000 copies to date (as much as charmbracelet).. and only touch my body sold over 100,000 copies.. its still the ebst r&B album of 2008

it sold 60,000 copies up to now (2008).. 2007 it sold 75,000 copies.

Its really surprising that in 2008 and also since they are back again, they are more successful than they've ever been before.. BW ist one of the biggest selling albums of all times, (still charting) and the circus is amazingly successful too..who could've imagined..? said it all is a milestone..
