wow BW sold over 2,200,000 copies in UK alone, so is it already 3,000,000 in europe, i know it has sold over 200,000 in germany too, that would make 2,500,000! what a heavy success.

I think its so much better like whitney reacted, saying that she doesn't thinks that Mariah is really copying her only by sounding sometimes a bit like her.. Whitney never talked bad about Mariah and finally 8 years later both supervoices joined for a trademark duet. Just on public appearances Whitney is much more intelligent than Madonna, cause Whitney realises that Mariah carey would become a Superstar (and in fact Mariah has outsold Whitneys career totals as early as the late 90's came) but Madonna wanted to argue with mariah, cause she couldn't accept that there was another very young singer, who could move audiences and who could become a houshold megastar. madonna thought that mariah would be a pop artists with like 2 albums and 5 mediocre successful hits and after mariah becoming the biggest artist of the 90's which one could have seen with music box selling over 20 million copies until beginning of 1995 Madonna felt threatened and she decided to diss Mariah instead of accepting her success, and in 1996 with the success of merry christmas and daydream it seemed that madonna would have no chance against mariah so the feud became even stronger.

old songs are not allowed to chart in the US! if they were, all i want for christmas is you could have been Top 10 EVERY year! in 2005 it even was #1 on download charts so it also might have shot into the top 3 or even #2 after don't forget about us! this year it would have peaked at #6 or #5!

all i want for christmas is you sells much better this year than last year! i wonder why? #11 in the US with better sales than last year at #7. this year all i want sold 224,131 copies in the US alone and 42,000 in UK (until last week). I currently re-charts in 9 european countries, including UK and germany as Europes biggest markets!

BUT actually the song charted well 1994 on its original release and reached #2.. so its not a new TOP 10 single..

i don't know sales of without you in uk, but all i want for christmas was certified for 400.000 physical singles sold over 10 years ago... with massiv downloads NOW! So maybe it will in some time in the future be her biggest selling single in the UK!

without was my first alltime mariah favourite (now its close my eyes) but i like it a bit more than we belong together, which I think, IS one of the best r&b songs of all times.

What is in your Opinion mariahs trademark song all around the world? I think Vom 1994-2000 Mariahs wordlwide best known song was Without You, her until now only worldwide super Hit! I was the biggest selling single of 1994 and hit #1 across Europe. From 2001-2003 Her trademark song was Hero. After her breakdown she performed that song everywhere it was like a new anthem for the victims of september 11th. Also this song comes from her 1993 megahit album music box. BUT then there was a BIG change from 2004-2007. Her album Merry Christmas finalle had yearly sales of over 150.000-200.000 in the US alone and All i want for christmas is you became a mea hit single on the download/digital charts worldwide. including downloads all i want for cheistmas is you sold nearly as many copies worldwide as without you and it will overtake without you's status of mariahs biggest selling single wordlwide in late 2008.. The song can and will finally re-chart in many european counbtries (Germany, UK) and it sells so great in japan, UK and the US! Its again the #1 top holiday song this year in many countries. so in my opinion mariah careys new trademarksong around the world is all i want for christmas is you.

i hope that bthis single can reach 300.000-400.000 copies sold (with BIg XMas sales).. cause TT deserve another HIGHselling single.. and i hope it stays as long on the charts as the great shine single.

ikts so stupid, Robbie is without any doubt the biggest selling male soloartist of the last 10 years! and i am convinced that one day he will become the biggest european solo artist of all times.. RW is a true legend in his early 30's.. so theres still so much more to come.

i cannot wait for a new album, i loved invincible so the new one will hopefully return him the true king of pop titel.
