Nelly Furtado's album loose has sold 500.000 copies in germany (at least) while Melua has sold over 600.000 copies of her latest album. BUT Meluas album is from 2005 i guess.. or? BTW Loose is the 3rd album in a row by furtado to sell OVER 500.000 copies.. The 3 best selling female international artists of the deacde in germany are: 1. Katie Melua/Anastacia 2. Nelly Furtado 3. Madonna

i think FSLS will end up selling 8m at most (shipment figure).. the album has already crossed its sales peak globally.. its on its way down.. but it will be the biggest selling album by a male soloartist since Back to bedlam by James Blunt.

Michaels catalogue of songs is soooo big.. BUT I love Janet as well. I think 20 YO is a real good album and she has some alltime favs too.. Janet is great but Michael will always be bigger.

CA is not a good singer at all.. she really screams on nearly EVERY of her songs.. BUT Mariahs tone of voice and her high notes are always lovely..

Rudebox has sold (real sales) 2.1m copies to date (at most) and shipped mostly 3.3m copies globally.. so its far away from the 4m shipment figure.. I believe it will end up with like 2.5m in real sales and about 3.6 in shipments in europe.. (it may get a 3x platinum certification by the ifpi this year if we have some luck).. It may still only be his lowest certified album.. allthough it sold the same as live at knebworth.. THIS weeks European and global chart positions that i found and estimated global sales: Germany: #37(#29) France: #181(#157) Switzerland: #71(#59) Austria: #50(#41) Netherlands: #45(#36) Italy: #49(#29) dropped out in sweden and is still out in UK, Australia, Spain, Ireland, Newzealand etc. Sales in these 6 countries which dominate 70% of europes music industry market: ~7.000 copies (Total worldwide sales this week ~ 15.000)

i think that shipments to online retailers muste be included in the total shipment number, cause these sales are real shipments, the record company has to ship some copies to amazon or other retailers.... btw.. rudebox sold 700 copies last week in the UK (which i think is laughable..) why r the british so convinced that the album is bad?

the Uk should really be glad to see one of their artists to become the biggest foreign solo performer of the deacde in nearly EVERY european country. RW really is the UK only current World Mega Star... I think if rob waits 2-3 years to release the next studioalbum that his career will def recover-.- although i don't want to wait so long to hear something new, he should really do it. His next album - the swing album- will prob also fail to match previous sales.
