  1. reality drops to #3 in Germany, in the end the album has been a huge hit in UK and Germany and... Australia where I believe Reality is also due to double platinum...(140,000)
  2. #11 for Reality is not that bad, especially when we look at his total sales of 730,000 copies in only 7 weeks.. if this reaches 1m in total sales it must be considered one of his best selling albums cause of the size of the current music market. i hope that ifpi releases their year end chart soon. you know me stays in the top 10 at #9!
  3. no they are not, but mediatraffic announced their year end chart with reality at #32 and 1,5 million copies sold worldwide in 2009. the IFPI should certify the album 2x platinum pretty soon. with maybe 900,000 in UK and 500,000 in Germany and good sales all over the world (soon it'll be 2x plat in australia, too 140,000). I hope REality can sell over 2m copies in the end and ship more than 3,5m...
  4. i love how successful the reality era has become. 730,000 copies sold in 7 weeks is impressive. Robbie is back in the UK with a huge hit album.
  5. Reality's chartrun in Germany (6 weeks) 1-2-2-4-2-2-
  6. unfortunately, he is not, Michael Jackson had shipped more than 10,000,000 albums before his death in Germany, he most likely has crossed 11,000,000 on albums alone now. #1 Michael Jackson 11 million (since 1979) 30 years #2 Robbie Williams 8,5 million (since 1997) 12 years MJ prior to his death-sales in Germany Off the Wall 525,000 Thriller 1,850,000 Farewell my Summerlove 100,000 Bad 2,200,000 Dangerous 2,350,000 HIStory 1,800,000 BOTDF 550,000 Invincible 325,000 Number Ones 200,000 The Essential 100,000 =10,000,000
  7. Reality is Huge, now he has 2 top 10 singles off this album = good result so far!
  8. UK recap 2 - 238,125 4 - 85,724 (323,849) 9 - 55,953 (379,802) 10 - 60,298 (440,108) 11 - 74,138 (514,246) really good numbers but bland positions. It has now outsold Rudebox and its going straight to 3x platinum. Sales are up 23%!
  9. sad that Mariah dropped from 120m albums to 25m this decade.. thats a huge drop.. (same for celine)... Madonna "only" lost 50% of her 90's sales... I think next decades biggest seller will be the beatles with ... maybe 25m...lol the music industry is dead.. btw until june 2009 Michael did not belong to the top 30 biggest selling artists of the decade.. he sold well over 10m copies since his death on albums alone.. Robbie is the biggest selling international artist, with the highest sales in most countries.. Eminem and Britney and Beatles would not even be close without the US market.. RW is the biggest selling artist in EUROPE of the decade..BY FAR
  10. .. 420-430,000 copies in 4 weeks IS amazing..(reality is not his debut album-hes no new artist... of course all the x factor newbies sell well, but theres only ONE Robbie Williams as unique as his music and persona is, his sales are well better than anybody expected...) OK he's not sellinmg that well in ALL european countries... but he's still the KING of Europe.. Reality's 1x platinum cert for european shipments of 1,000,000 is overdue now... his shipment for the UK must already be near 600,000 (2x platinum) cause over the counter sales already are exceeding 400,000.. and he received platinum in Germany in the first week, too (200,000)... so he's already shipped 800,000 copies (at least) between UK and Germany alone.. I bet Reality will become top 5 of europes biggest selling albums of the year..
  11. but RW had an amazing string of super-successful releases in the UK (basically from 1997-2005 all his albums were more than just successful)...
  12. sales are really good... compared to its position... it'll break 400,000 sold in its 4th week.. thats good... but we have to face it, that his popularity has decreased in the uk massively. btw its platinum in Germany (200,000 copies shipped)... in the first week.
  13. stevyy posted a post in a topic in UK Charts
    go mariah... top 10
  14. so far Reality sold another 61k (latest update) I wish he would come close to 100k again.. its quite shocking that reality will drop to #4 this week..
  15. first week sales must be huge in europe.. maybe exceeding 450,000... so he may have shipped 700k to the minimum... known sales (rounded) 270,000 UK 17,000 France (12,000 Australia)
  16. UK still has one of the biggest markets... and its not that affected by illegal downloads i guess.. i think in 2 years the us and british music market will have equaled.. lol.. just at the top 10 albums in the uk (almost same sales as the us top 10...) especially during xmas season...
  17. but I bought 2 copies of reality myself.. unfortunately in GERMANY.. lol (he'll debut at #1 here) its his: 8th consecutive #1 album-debut in Germany 2000 Sing 2001 Swing 2002 Ecapology 2003 Knebworth 2004 Greatest 2005 Intensive 2006 Rude 2009 Reality
  18. the only thing that is important is 1st week sales, and when reality exceeds 200,000 copies it'll be a HUGE success. + if it has stable sales during xmas i see it selling 800,000-1m copies even in 2009...
  19. i hate all the x factor crap now... rob deserves #1!
  20. but how can you neglect a song that features robs angelic voice or his entertaining dance moves? btw, look at it as if its a "duet"...
  21. my ranking: 1. Intensive care 2. REALITY 3. Rudebox 4. Sing 5. Escapology 6. I've been 7. Life thru 8. Swing It has some outstanding songs on it, Morning sun, superblind, last days of disco, difficult for weirdos, starstruck.. some very amazing songs- well done rob.
  22. i would faint and cry if that happens.. I wasn't a fan of rob back to TT prime in the 90's.. I always was camp Gary.. lol.. I became a ROB die hard, life changing stalker-esque fan in 1998/99 when his second album became a huge hit.. and now I think its right to rejoin them-as long as its only a "guest" appearance (BTW I love how TT changed Could it be magics production to less dance-pop and more generic piano-pop...)
