Yeah but Friends... : Annie Mac's Hottest tune in the world BBCR1. Playlisted on Capital and played from the outset Spotify #1 on New Music Friday (with pic)Straight onto Hot Hits UK playlist plus loads more. Same with Apple Music & Others... Also this has big international push... loads of playlists internationally... Cigarette was mostly UK-focused. Cigarette was never pitched as a follow-up to Decline. More of a cool 'look' thing with Mabel & Stef... Not even a proper video.

Yeah Decline was pushed from the outset by mainstream radio. Cigarette was pushed to specialist radio and playlists. I would say Friends is the 'mainstream' follow-up to Decline and it feels way bigger... I predict this will be her biggest hit to date as a main artist (i.e. not a feature)

But even Cigarette wasn't really 'pushed' - I think Friends will get a full push though... It's a no-brainer radio tune....

I think the clue in the EP was in the title 'Side Tape'. I've heard Friends live... It's a full on banger... and probably why Crew not getting released...
