  1. This is the reason i dislike Westlife so much. Not only they have always been lazy puppets and boring karaoke singers but their management exaggerated their sales and achievements. I still don't know what was the point of it.
  2. Listen, TT sold 2 Croke Park dates( Progress tour) in a few minutes. Westlife did sell 1 date but it's their farewell tour and they don't do any other Irish dates as far as i am concerned. And it's the last date of the tour after all. What kind of achievement is that? If they sold 8 Croke Park dates in a row like TT did 8 Wembley dates that would be impressive. I am sure that wont sell out a stadium anywhere else but Ireland.I even am not sure they will sell out a second Croke date( if they release it). I knew Wl fans would blame Gary for their failure. You shouldn't really. It's just people lost interest..Of course Westlife still have their fan base and some of them are VERY obsessive(judging by the posts above) but it's not enough to get them higher in the charts. They just don't have that likability factor.
  3. I have no words. They should sack their management ASAP!! They also need to get off their lazy asses and work. What's wrong with them? The only reasonable explanation is that they're preparing a Comic Relief single and simply don't want to waste their energy and time to other stuff..Other than that, there's no logic to their behavior.
  4. I fear it may struggle to make it to top-10 next week. It's really a big shame because Kidz-one of the strongest songs on the album. As far as I know there's no promo scheduled next week. And the video is not even out yet.WTF? P. S. I've just heard Rocket Ship and it's amazing.
  5. Yes, it IS being released. They're promoting it all over Europe starting with Germany tomorrow. They will perform "Kidz" on Wetten Dass-the most popular tv show in Germany.I think it will boost the album sales a lot.
  6. Gary has just said on radio BBC2 that "they're recording" some new tracks at the moment specially for re-release of the album "Progress". I knew it would happen!
  7. Never knew Take That were big in Greece... Good for them!
  8. So according to this article http://www.musicweek.com/story.asp?section...1043507&c=1 Progress #1 Germany Uk Ireland Denmark Greece #2 Austria Switzerland Also: France # 53 Australia # 65 Sweden # 41 Belgium # 36 Norway: #36 Czech Republic: #21 Mind you, those positions were before the EU promo kicked off so I am sure they should rise in the charts. At least in Sweden and Norway as Progress and The Flood both are very high on norwegian and swedish Itunes.
  9. 208220 Take That 152474 JLS 94894 Westlife I think it takes some time before they reach 1M mark. I thought they would do it a lot faster to be honest...
  10. It depends on the country,i suppose. Some countries like France or Sweden, for instance, were never really welcoming towards Take That, whereas some countries like Germany or Italy on the other hand were always fond of TT and they still have quite big fan bases over there. Anyway, I hope they restore their success outside the Uk with this album. I think they have some good chances really.
  11. They're all equally egocentric, imho. And Robbie fits perfectly in the band as if he never left. As for The Flood, i am so sick of it already. I just can't wait for the next single!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  12. Well, actually TT were number 2 with BW in both Denmark and Germany and Patience was number one in Switzerland, Germany, Denmark,Spain and top10 in several other european countries. Some people are trying to convince us that TT are having their current success only because of Robbie. I strongly disagree with this statement.Take That are genuinely loved and have their own following outside the Uk.Its undeniable. May i also add-Robbie wouldn't have had those monster record breaking sales in the Uk on his own, would he? So this success is definitely a collective effort.
  13. First of all, they are not number one in Netherlands yet(unfortunately), secondary- wtf are you talking about?Take That were always big in those countries with or without Robbie. I am sick and tied of all those RW, Oasis whatever fans who can't deal with how successful TT have become. Get over it already.
  14. First of all, Charis, Wl didn't beat TT as they're on their second week, you know. And secondary Progress currently # 1 in 6 countries already Switzerland Denmark Netherlands Germany Uk Ireland I think they'll be fine.

They've sold that amount in the UK only (last week). Doesn't fit.
  16. Wow, you're obviously mental.. i just posted my view on these bands and nothing more.. should i "REPORT" on you too then? For personal attacks perhaps?[/b] I think you just bitter because Bsb became one of the biggest jokes in music, just admit it. And no, NKOTB rejoining them wont save them. They're done.
  17. The performance was cringe-worthy. Bsb always represented themselves as''the greatest vocal band of all". Where's the proof then? I don't see it. The only one who can really sing in BSB is AJ. Brian really did suck in this. New Kids definitely outdid them. Jordan is a nice vocalist and definitely the best among them all. Overall, the whole idea of them morphing in one band seems desperate and pathetic.I feel bad for both Bsb and New Kids fan bases.
  18. Its top 10 almost all over Europe on Itunes... must be a very good sign!!!!!!!!
  19. I wont be surprised in the least if he indeed rejoins them. And their next album will probably be produced by Stuart Price.... Because its all they do for the past couple of years- copy TT in every possible way.

There's no doubt in my mind that Jls wont top the album chart next week. Its definitely going to be Take That again.

Judging by midweeks, i think the final figure for the opening week is going to be 530-550k.I still hope for +600k but i am afraid it ain't gonna happen.
  22. They will! I wonder, how many albums are in stoke? Is there any limit or not?

Still i find it hard to believe they did 24 million of records outside the UK. They've sold around 16 million in the UK along(10 million albums and around 6 million singles), i highly doubt Philippines, Malaysia,Korea and the rest asian countries where Westlife were big all consider Third World countries with an underdeveloped music market, so its unlikely they've sold there that much.Where they popular anywhere else? Europe,Us, Canada? No,no and No.Australia? Only one album "Face To Face".So this 40 million figure is bull$h!t. So,16 million of records in the UK.And around 15 million outside the UK. Total sales-+30 million.
