Jls have nothing to do with their decision. Gary said himself that they moved it because of demand. And with the documentary and Xfactor performance on November,14 the album will be absolutely massive.. Not sure about the single though.. but it's strong enough to compete with Xfactor song, I guess.

Don't be so ignorant. JLS WONT have a number one album as Gary said today on Radio 1 the preoders are HUGE.. they could easily beat Oasis record actually. The second week will be just as strong as their first week( i reckon +300k), Jls wont do more than 200k anyway. In the album battle they dont stand a chance... As for the single The Flood, i am worried because of Xfactor.. but then again,as Gary said, the demand is enormous they had to move their release date. We'll see what happens.
  3. It's different. I can't compare it to RTW or Patience because this song is a major departure from what they've done previously.I've never heard anything quite like this before. What is it? Techno-rock?They have created something absolutely new as far as sound goes.. Outstanding! I am glad it's getting rave reviews from both TT and Robbie fanbases. It will be absolutely massive. They just need some good promo and it will easily outsell ''Rule The World'' (their biggest seller since reunion). Tremendous song!!! Well done, Take That.

Those fans will be first in line for this album, believe me. Well, they could beat Oasis if the single is strong. Because anticipation for this album is enormous. People(even none fans) will buy it because practically everyone is curious about what this TT\Robbie album will sound like. This album could do anything from 300k to 1 million on its first week.. Lets just wait and see.

Take That actually outsold her with The Circus album. She sold 411,000 first week, TT-423,000. This time,I think, her sales wont be that high. The hype is not the same anymore. Whereas Take That,on the other hand, probably will sell even more this time. Their reunion with Robbie is hyped up to high heaven. The sales will be MASSIVE. As for the single..JLS' single is nothing special at all. Yes, i know they have a big following. But TT have an advantage. People will buy it because of the epicness of it all. Because Robbie Williams back to Take That IS an epic thing.Plus they have TT fanbase AND Robbie fanbase. Both are huge. JLS have no chance,IMO.

Apparently,Take That's new album is called "Progress" out on November, 22. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/showb...l-Progress.html

I am surprised some of you see JLS as Take That competition. Their new album is going to be massive.Easily 500-600k on its opening week. Can't see JLS selling this amount even with multiply album sleeves.
  8. As i said, Mark's voice has some jingling sound to it.It feels like his voice vibrates while singing.‎ To me, it's kinda off putting, sorry. I've seen quite a few their perfomances and he sounds out of tune most of the time.Mark's voice is limited to a certain degree where he only can show off his ability in singing power ballads or soul\'rnb. A good capable vocalist can sing EVERYTHING. And Gary's a perfect example of a perfectly capable vocalist. Regarding their songwriting abilities, don't even get me started. As for the new album- Is it even normal to record an album in 10 days these days?(because that's what Westlife did).I mean,Take That took 2 years off to write and record an album. They were ALL involved in this creative process putting their ideas together. They are a serious, credible band unlike Westlife. They probably thought he could write another Patience or Rule The World for them...Little did they know it was TT members who wrote these pop classic hits not Shanks.I am glad TT were smart enough to get rid of him this time. He started to bore the hell outta me. His works sound repetitive. This particular song "Safe" already bored me to death even though i haven't heard it in HQ yet. Lets just hope Westlife won't steel TT's producer STUART PRICE for their next album because thats what they do for the past years- copy Take That in every possible way. As Jason Orange said:" "Imitation Is The Best Form Of Flattery". I am sure Take That boys wouldn't mind.
  9. Wow... Westlife fans are so delusional, it's ridiculous. Gary's an amazing vocalist as well as Robbie and the other 3(Jay, Howard and Mark) are not bad either. At least, they are definitely way better than those blond guys from Westlife. Nicky and Kein? Sorry, i don't know their names. I actually don't understand why they were chosen to be in a music band in the first place? They have no talent whatsoever. Gary's voice is so flexibile and smooth.. and it's CLASSY. He has such a wide vocal range he could sing EVERYTHING.Those 2 pathetic Wl fans obviously have never heard TT live.As for Westlife. Well, I for one, can't stand WL's gay one( Mark?) singing. He ALWAYS sounds like he's singing through his nose as if he has cold or someting. This ''stuffy nose'' way of singing annoys me so much. As for Shane, he always sounds the same. There's no passion, no emotions in his voice. It's flat, it's dire, it's forgettable. At least, you can always define Robbie by his UNIQUE vocals. Westlife? Blunt, dull, boring, talentless...

According to http://www.worldwidealbums.net/, Back Home album sales are 1,2 mil worldwide, so they just managed around+200k outside the UK..... The Love Album-1,5 million,by the way. There's just NO way the 43 million figure is accurate. The only way the 43 million figure is not made up if Coast to Coast and World of Our Own albums sold +10 million each worldwide. And what about this ''4 Brit Awards''claim? You still don't believe that Simon Cowell/X Factor would lie?
  11. locott posted a post in a topic in Pop and Country
How's that possible?, Their last album Back Home only sold 900k in the Uk and their biggest selling album to date(CTC) sold around 1,4 million( quite average sales compared to the likes of (Oasis, Coldplay, Take That, Dido, Robbie)! ))))))) Not to say other abums sales were very mediocre ( all just under mil).... Besides, they just couldnt sold 3,5 million in one year since Back Home flopped almost everywhere where it was released. So the 43 mil figure is definitely FAKE. Why would Simon lie about their achievements? I don't get it.

According to this vid X Factor - Westlife - What About Now - HQ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LDXkvxMh_e8 Westlife won 4(!!!!!!!) Brit Awards? :o ARE the biggest selling band in the UK  and sold over 43 million records(considering last time they claimed 40 mil) How desperate and pathetic are they? Simon, what's wrong with you? :(

I don't get it ..Is Cheryl still at number one? I thought those karaoke singers knocked her off the number one pot?

OMG,i've just seen Pondlife's perfomance on Xfactor... Are they trying to be TAKE THAT or what? They are so pathetic. Will download Daughtry's version even though i find the song quite mediocre.
  15. OMFG at Cheryl's sales.... She deserves it though.

Really happy for Chezza!!! Shame for Robbie.....
  17. Being number 1 on itunes doesnt mean he's going to be number 1 in general chart. Official charts so far.... In Italy #8 Ireland- # 3 Not even in top 20 in other countries such as sweden and Denmark.
  18. locott posted a post in a topic in Pop and Country
Suprise suprise it IS a cover of Daughtry's song  http://www.amazon.co.uk/What-About-Now/dp/...6074&sr=8-8 Westlife are true to themselves- they are the most pathetic pop act in the music history EVER!
  19. Where did you get your information from? I mean like they have no success outside the Uk, they had half empty venues because very few people bothered to go and see them ??? This is utterly not true. You have to understand that things are different outside the Uk. You don't necessary need to sell out million albums in a few days. It's enough to have decent airplay on tv and radio.Don't get me wrong i know you don't mean it but sometimes you sound as if you want to put the boys down.. That's the impression i sometimes get..
  20. It does still have a chance to beat Duffy and become the best selling album of 2008. We have 2 weeks in reserve.))) I think by sunday the album will be somewhat at 1100-1200k. Don't forget that New Year sales will be huge as well. A lot of people will buy the album as a gift so i am pretty positive TT would overtake Duffy.
  21. I think by this saturday they will pass a million mark easily.
  22. I don't like Girls Aloud music wise, but i have such a crush on Cheryl  A duet with them is actually a really really bad idea. What's wrong with you, Barlow?
  23. I can't wait to find out how much they've sold so far...
  24. TT probably will sell + 300K considering they've sold 83k by tuesday update.
  25. LOl, Norma! This time i have to agree with you though. I for one thought they could at least beat Coldplay and become the 2nd bestselling band of all time but it never happened. Mind you, those sales figures still look tremendous but i still slightly gutted. Besides, it looks like yesterday's show hasn't had an impact yet..not on Itunes as Greatest Day is only at 3d place at the moment.
