Really happy for Chezza!!! Shame for Robbie.....
  3. Being number 1 on itunes doesnt mean he's going to be number 1 in general chart. Official charts so far.... In Italy #8 Ireland- # 3 Not even in top 20 in other countries such as sweden and Denmark.

Suprise suprise it IS a cover of Daughtry's song  http://www.amazon.co.uk/What-About-Now/dp/...6074&sr=8-8 Westlife are true to themselves- they are the most pathetic pop act in the music history EVER!
  5. Where did you get your information from? I mean like they have no success outside the Uk, they had half empty venues because very few people bothered to go and see them ??? This is utterly not true. You have to understand that things are different outside the Uk. You don't necessary need to sell out million albums in a few days. It's enough to have decent airplay on tv and radio.Don't get me wrong i know you don't mean it but sometimes you sound as if you want to put the boys down.. That's the impression i sometimes get..
  6. It does still have a chance to beat Duffy and become the best selling album of 2008. We have 2 weeks in reserve.))) I think by sunday the album will be somewhat at 1100-1200k. Don't forget that New Year sales will be huge as well. A lot of people will buy the album as a gift so i am pretty positive TT would overtake Duffy.
  7. I think by this saturday they will pass a million mark easily.
  8. I don't like Girls Aloud music wise, but i have such a crush on Cheryl  A duet with them is actually a really really bad idea. What's wrong with you, Barlow?
  9. I can't wait to find out how much they've sold so far...
  10. TT probably will sell + 300K considering they've sold 83k by tuesday update.
  11. LOl, Norma! This time i have to agree with you though. I for one thought they could at least beat Coldplay and become the 2nd bestselling band of all time but it never happened. Mind you, those sales figures still look tremendous but i still slightly gutted. Besides, it looks like yesterday's show hasn't had an impact yet..not on Itunes as Greatest Day is only at 3d place at the moment.

    400-450k, i reckon.
  14. They have'nt done any promo yet for the single. What do you expect really? Norma, sometimes you sound really harsh towards the boys.It almost feels like you need to be proven wrong everytime. As for success...it all depends on their PR really. If they do enough promotion then the album will be successful. It contains really great tunes with a great potential to become big hits. If they mainly concentrate on their native country of course the success won't come from nowhere.
  15. You forgot to add in just one hour or so. I personally think that after ITV special they might go to number one in Ireland nwxt week.

Does anyone know how many copies ''The Circus''have sold by now?

You all think too much of this bland cover version, i guess.)) I know that Take That would have no chance to get the number one spot back off Leona but they are doing a prime time tv special "An audience with.." this weekend . I am sure its gonna be a hit show and will boost their sales up by quite a lot. That's why i asked. Also Leonas sales will slow down too next week.

Leona will do around 100-120 k this week. But does anyone else think that after Take That's itv special this sunday they could take the number one spot back to themselves next week?
  19. I think at very best they will sell 380-400K this week. I know its a huge figure but i hoped for more. I really wanted them to break another record and become all time best-selling band with this album.
  20. They need to sell at least 700k to outsell "Be Here Now"(698k on its first week) :o  Could they sell that amount? Someone in other thread suggested they could sell anything from 400k to 800k this week... so here comes some hope.
  21. Would'nt it be amazing if they could beat Oasis ''Be Here Now" and become the fastest selling album in history?
  22. RTW single has sold 98k on the first week. I guess the sales for GD will be a little bit higher- maybe +100k.

I can't say they were big enough in Europe. They were known but definitely not big like in US.

      The way they move their fat arses straight to the camera....ewwwwwwwwwwww They really don't belong to this venue. They look some sort of...funny, i'd say.

In their dreams maybe they indeed have sold that amount. Singles sales in the Uk: 31 Westlife 5805000 Maxico was pretty much the only one latin country where Westlife had any success. They've sold 100 k of the album"Coast to Coast" there. So, no, those 8 million for CTC still looks like bull$h!t ^_^
