None of Take That's superhits were covers actually. There were only 4 of them for the whole their career. Not 1004 like Pestlife

Yeah, i have to agree with the majority here. The song is quite mediocre by Take That standarts. But i thought that Chasing Cars was quite a bland song and it turned out to be one of the biggest hits of the year. Not sure what to think.
  3. Its not a superhit at all, but still nice. Its very pleasant, but i,for one, wouldn't release it as a lead single. Its more of an album track,i guess.
  4. Yes, i know what you mean. I too am afraid it might be a totally c**p song. Hope the boys will prove me wrong and the song is even better than Patience and Rule The World put together. I wonder if it's another ballad or not. The journalist from the Daily Star said" it picks up nicely from where Rule The World left off".Sounds like another romantic ballad to me.

Well, jason said they even might try to break Us with this song and are going to send it over there to see how it goes. If he said that the song must be very good+ Take That are the biggest pop band at the moment so it most definitely will go to number one.
  6. Ok, guys, haven't been here for ages but i am sooooo looking forward for the new single :w00t: I can't wait! The song is definitely being played on monday, i've got the confirmation through a VERY RELIABLE source :D
  7. Take That will do it within a few hours, trust me. They are the biggest european band at the moment after all. Besides, Take That's next tour will be all stadium. 5 nights at Wembley stadium, Croke Park, Derby football stadium -these are rumoured venues Take That are gonna play for their next tour.
  8. First of all, there were less than 80,000 people ,that's for sure. Some blocks were actually empty, so Pestlife could not sell it out completely. Besides, the tickets for this gig were on sale FOR AGES. Big bands sell out stadia gigs in minutes like Take That, for instance. Westlife are not in the same league, sorry.
  9. I do think TT have way more chances to record the title song for the next Bond film than Leona has. Probably they are in talks with the producers who have'nt picked up an artist yet. Hope TT boys will get the deal.

    Wow at Take That! :o
  11. Who's voted for number one? Is that you,Dino? ROLF
  12. Yes, TT are getting loads and loads of airplay not only all over Europe but globally-that is all what really counts.I've been to Japan recently and heard them countless times on the local radio stations. And i agree, they are really a high profile band.. they are like Aha or Duran Duran- a legendary band whos impact in the music industry is undeniable.
  13. So what? Madonna's 48 and still dances in her little thongs on stage.I am sure we'll have at least a new single from them next year if not the whole new album.
  14. Being a fan of TT, I can honestly say that Gary has NEVER ever said anything bad about ANY band or artist never mind East 17  Take That was obviously bigger and better band and I dont think Gary saw them as rivals at all.
  15. Its a shame because TT are gonna drop in the charts without this album in the stores. Hope its not true.
  16. With a to date tally of 1,038,079; Take That’s Beautiful World completes the rare feat of selling more than a million copies for two years in a row, lifting its 2007 tally to 1,018,767 and its lifetime tally to 2,142,951
  17. The article actually says 4, 2 mil per member not 17 mil. I guess, 17 million is the total amount they have earned.

Yeah, especially when ALL their albums(minus Coast To Coast) FLOPPED globally. CTC really was massive in Asia(it has sold 1,5mil) but that was it.This was the one and only album that really had any sort of succsess. I'd say 5 mil in Asia, 10 mil in the Uk , probably 2 mil in Europe ,500k in Australia They have NEVER been big in America(both North and South) So around 17-18 million they have sold album wise. As you can see nowhere near 40 million :teresa:

Does anyone know how much they have sold really? I am curious because the old cheating scums Simon Cowell and Lous Walsh always lie about their acts sales. I mean..Hello. New Kids On The Blok have sold 35 million world wide and they were massive. Westlife are nowhere near as big as them so surely they could'nt outsell them
  20. I appreciate your counting skills, Dino, but there's no need to make those popularity indexes at all... you already made one (a list of the best selling boybands) and someone(probably that was you) reposted this c**p on Wikipedia so some Pondlife fans really started to think that those stool sitters have sold 40 million album which is actually more than New Kids and definitely FALSE. Stop doing those researches..you are confusing people really.

If everyone who bought a TAKE THAT ticket also bought or downloaded Rule The World, it also would be number one for MONTHS. Unfortunately it never happened.
  22. There's no way Spice Girls will be number 2 this week.I am actually not sure about the next week either. c**p song is still a c**p song and neither charity single nor their iconic status can change it.
  23. What? What a lot of bull$h!t...There's NO way its gonna happen.

No promo? Flower off... This is by far the MOST hyped comeback EVER. What exactly TT did when they released their second greatest hits except for the documentary? Hardly any promo. The thing is first time around we had'nt a chance to have both TT and SG at the same time to see who's really bigger and better..and now we can clearly see that Take That ARE Uk's biggest pop band and hardly have any competition from ANY band. SG, for one, still have available tickets almost to all their shows while Take That's were sold within hours literally!
