  3. Thanks, and well done for your 39 today. Round 1: 39 💥 Round 2: 30 Loneliness, Monday, the year 3 in 10: 2 Happy Hour, Caravan Of Love
  4. It only had a score of 46 points in the first round.
  5. There are 54 singles in the second of the two semi-finals. There would have been 55 but '(I've Had) The Time Of My Life' by Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes has been disqualified as it peaked at number 6 in 1987. It was the 1990 re-issue that reached number 8. I always check chart peaks at the same time as I present the first round results for the non-qualifiers. I don't check them for the singles that make it through until I type out the semi-final list. As there were 101 qualifiers, a replacement will not be brought in, we still have 100 singles plus the wild cards. Please vote for your favourite 25 songs from the list and put them in order from 25 points for your favourite down to 1 point for your least favourite. Please put your favourite at the top of your list. You can vote for less than 25 if you want to but there must be a minimum of 10. You have 7 days to vote. 6. I didn't really know about Pink Floyd when Another Brick In The Wall came out. It was a few years later that I first got into prog rock. I liked the song straightaway, I would put it somewhere in my top 10 from the year. YMCA is a catchy fun song that I don't mind listening to.
  7. Fantastic to see a second gold medal of the day for GB. 🥇🥇

  22. Thanks, and well done John on a double 39. I hope that rain has stopped now. Round 1: 27 Eternal, Diana Ross, Get Up And Boogie Round 2: 39 💥I only got 'La Mer' as two people voted for it in the number 8 poll and one of them used the French title. 3 in 10: 1 Living In America
  23. Yes, you are correct. The list on wiki was showing Do You Really Want Me as 1995 but it wasn't a hit in the UK until 1998.
  24. We Don't Talk Anymore is one of Cliff Richard's better songs but I think I would have put it around the same place. Walking On The Moon is OK but there are much better singles by The Police. I've never really liked Ring My Bell and would have put it below those two songs.
  25. Maybe someone who likes Michelle Branch could take over choosing her songs (if they are not already taking part).
