I am proposing a new site which is more open and has more user interaction, the site is only in the early stages of planning and I would like as much user input at possible before I start work. I would also appreciate offers of help from other coders and web developers. I have begun to thrash out some ideas on a wiki but would appreciate if interested parties could add their thoughts and opinions. I've cross-posted this with UKMix as well - I apologise if that offends anyone but I am interested in getting as many people's thoughts as possible. Hi, I've just realised that I missed out on getting these charts from the OCC and they've updated their website and it's gone now - just the reason why I need to run the chart archive! Has anyone got the charts requested above please? Would be very much appreciated!

Hi my name is Matt and I run the website ChartStats which has a singles chart archive dating back to the 1950's. I'm often asked if I will be extending my archive to include albums (my current archive only dates back to 2004) and am very interested in doing so. Just wondering if anyone knew where I could get hold of the week-by-week chart runs of the UK album chart (top 40,75 or 100 preferable but I will take what I can get!). I can easily get hold of the number one album for each week since the 1950s, but obtaining the rest of the chart is proving very difficult! Can anyone recommend any books that would contain the relevant information? Is there a physical archive of the "music week" magazine somewhere from which I could get the information? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated! Regards, Matt

Hey Guys, I like the chart countdown but I have one minor critisism, if you're going to directly hotlink to all the album images straight off my site I would at least appreciate a link back or credit?! I deliberately don't hotlink protect to enable people to post images on forums and the like but hotlinking 100 images in one thread is taking the mickey a little :wacko: So I shall take the credit myself, images generously provided by http://www.ChartStats.com/ Thanks for your interest in my site guys, and I hope you find it useful!
