It seems silly to get excited by it, but I think it's a really good thing - it's not smashing, but is being bought on a word of mouth basis. It's gonna give Sony something to think about, that Delta would be worth some promotion over here. A spot on The Voice here would be wonderful - since she has the coaches role in the Australian version, but not sure if the schedules would allow it, I think The Voice in Australia will be live on Mondays Up to #770!!! :D

Considering it's charting on word of mouth alone, it's done amazingly well just to get that far with no one really knowing its out. Hopefully this will be a sign to Sony that there is interest in Delta here and may give them the confidence to start releasing the song to TV and Radio, then if that goes well, get her to come over and promote

Though it just so happens that Not Me, Not I - is my favourite Delta song and one of my favourite songs ever - criminal it didn't do better then #18 in the UK - but she couldn't promote it because of her cancer at the time. Also, I was at a karaoke bar a couple of weeks ago and Innocent Eyes was sung by someone. I was shocked!! :o lol I don't think anyone is thinking Sitting On Top of the World will smash on word of mouth alone - but I'm sure Sony will be looking at the data coming back and see if they have something to work on

Not yet no - it needs promotion really. Even if they service it to TV and Radio and see what happens from there. It can't be that hard to do

I don't think it's so much ignoring - just that no one knows it's there - if it wasn't for going on the forums on www.deltadaily.com I wouldn't have known it had been added today. It's not even on release schedules.

It has the power to be anywhere between 2-4 by the end of this year which is quite something. I mean we have to remember this album isn't about to drop off the chart - its still in the top 10 and hasn't left it since its release. In another point - anyone think Abba - Gold could make it to 5 million by the summer?
