I swear I hate Louis Walsh! He has rallied fans against eachother, if they weren't on X Factor they wouldn't be getting compared.

iTunes Thread: May III
I have Alex as #6 and #45! Thats brilliant!

Cheryl Cole - Fight For This Love
I think it was more about outside events as to why Fight For Thi Love climbed, at the time of 3 Words, it was christmas/end of year where it's been known the public tend to buy their favourite songs from that year. With Parachute, not only was there the Brit Awards (and the Ashley scandel) but also Rufus Hound's spoof dance of the song

iTunes Chart: May II
Its really hard to work out. In the scheme of things, Alex does look like a strong contender for next week, she has the edge with the cd, which might not add alot but sometimes these things can be decided by a few thousand copies. But with Christina also climbing very well this week and next week also the digital release of Owl City's new single, well they could be up there

iTunes Chart: May II
Even though i live in England I love listening to the Australian Hot 30 countdown (10.30-1.15pm UK time) and this song is played all the time on there, so this now feels old, it's my favourite single from her though

That version is the album version which has been in the top 100 on Itunes for over a week. - As Fight Fo This Love has charted at #76 so far. At the moment its down to #81 and theres none of the single version/EP on the Itunes single chart at the moment

Kylie TV Special
Couldn't find the X-Factor one but found this for Britain's Got Talent this year: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/broadcasting/s...during-bgt.html And if you think that's mad look at America: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/cult/s10/lost/...or-usd900k.html

Kylie TV Special
I don't know if it was the exact figure, but advertisers would be willing to pay for it if it means getting their product out there and for the public to buy it. Plus X-mas + X Factor = massive sales boost

Kylie TV Special
I remember the final of X Factor in 2008 i think i saw an article saying that ITV were demanding £200,000 per advert. (I think it was this much anyway) Potentially ITV could have made a million in just 3 minutes. It's why its only the more well known brands would do this - and alot of Music advertisments - as its also gonna get their target audience, who will rush out to the shops to buy the cd - especially for christmas. And in that scenerio it would be the record company that pays ITV for that advert slot, and that money comes out of the record contract. So when you hear "Robbie Williams signs £80 million 5 year album deal" or whatever it was - its not Robbie being given £80 million, its how much the record company are willing to invest. Anyway.... Now, the Kylie show won't be that much but i guess it could get close to £100K - though i have no idea so don't quote me on it
-
Kylie TV Special
Because ITV will make more money out of it then what Kylie will. They give her £500K to do the show (I don't know if this will contribute the cost of making the show) but then advertisers will advertise their products and they pay ITV to show their adverts. They'll want to do that because they know they'll get millions of people watching the show - who could potentially buy their products. It's why Simon Cowell can wager such a big money demand for BGT and X Factor. All in all, ITV are helping Kylie, but Kylie is also helping ITV. Also, the more potential millions a show gets, the more money advertisers are likely to give ITV - it's why ratings are so important. i am willing to bet theough that the £500K given is also to help produce it. It'll probably pay for the studio space, dancers, lights, props, costume, the director, cameramen, ushers to show audience to their seats/take tickets, the cost of producing these tickets, etc. the list goes on. Although I don't know, I'm pretty sure that £500,000 is not all for Kylie, otherwise who else is gonna pay for the set-up?

Cheryl Cole '3 Words' [Worldwide Chart Topic]
I think we might be seeing "Fight For This Love" hitting the Aria singles chart soon - its currently #67 on Itunes and thats only the album version

Brian McFadden ft. Delta Goodrem - Mistakes
Her name is still around in the UK - mainly cropping up when there is a new Brian/Kerry feud. I think it would be quite easy to slot back in to be honest. For example, I don't know how long Kelis has been away for, but she has a new single now thats got top 5 in the charts and I think all there has been is a video. My point is, if the song is strong, then it will be enough to sell, I don't think she would have any problems getting a spot on GMTV/This Morning

Westlife - Where We Are
But they haven't been #1 since The Rose back in 2006 (i think) Home and What About Now charted at #2 i think
-
Sam Clark - Send Me A Sign
Contuining in the same vein of Broken, video is here: 1MjdQH3z1EA - and Toadie is in the video! HA! Also, Send Me A Sign and Broken are both on UK itunes And here's "Ringo" performing the track on Neighbours: hkXdNfg4Yg8
-
Nat Bass // '1000 Stars'
Didn't realise this, but the EP for Love Like This is on UK Itunes! And all her videos are on UK Itunes as well!
-
Westlife - Where We Are
This is silly! Its actually annoying me because the album does have a few good songs on there which should be released - and yet the only song from the album thats released as a single is a cover!
-
Brian McFadden feat Kevin Rudolf - Just Say So
YAH! #1 for a 2nd week! Can't wait to see how the album charts!
-
Girls Aloud On The Radio
The Loving Kind was played at around 3pm I think on BBC Radio 2 today
-
Brian McFadden feat Kevin Rudolf - Just Say So
I can't believe people are still so harsh on Brian. I don't think he's arrogant at all, he's got a great sense of humour and clearly adores Delta
-
ARIA Charts - 19/04/10
Go Brian!!! So happy he has made it to #1! "Just Say So" is currently my top song for the summer weather we're recently having and its going down a treat!
