Fantastic that with Cheryl's sales added, we're on over 9 million which is incredible! Im sure if we could get hold of Ireland's sales and everywhere else for everything, we could be looking on 11 million sales - i certainly don't see why not. At least 10 million
  8. are you sure about The Saturdays? The album isn't exacting setting sales records right now....
  9. I liked Mark Goodier and Scott's good as well. To be honest, i don't really mind Reggie and Fearne, Reggie on his own is boring though. I would prefer Scott full time
  10. Thinking about it - next year the final could be pre-recorded with a live results show on Boxing Day, that would work
  11. could do it Boxing Day?
  12. it would be better if the final was the week after christmas and the single first week of january - sales that week are usually higher than christmas week now - what with parents getting their children itunes gift cards for christmas
  13. Other - Fairytale of New York please! It would also be a celebration for Kirsty who next year would have died 10 years ago - and the annervsary would be on a sunday when the chart is announced. I can't think of anything better than to have Fairytale of New York as christmas #1 next year
  14. Fight For This Love: 697, 742 (platinum - 4th biggest selling single of the year) 3 Words (single): 109,983 3 Words (Album): 523,361 (platinum - 14th biggest selling album of the year) Parachute: (approx 5-6000)

That made me laugh more then it should Bought Cheryl's 3 Words single - love it!
  16. ^ sorry, but the likelyhood of that happening is extremely slim. I bought mine yesterday as well - love the fact that its snowing at christmas with the first song playing!
  17. If you go to the main chart page - there is an Itunes thread which has the top 1000 on it. You can look up anything from there

You know, even though everyone moans about x factor always being #1 - this RATM has provided alot of the excitement back - even if it doesn't make it - its become a chart battle again. The big question is: who's gonna be x-mas #3?
  22. HA! No ones voted When You Believe and Against All Odds

The only time X Factor 2008 did better in the ratings was the Saturday show wasn't it? And 19.7 million is overnight figures, I'd imagine its pushed over the 20million mark once its all finalised. (I know these can vary as i remember seeing Doctor Who overnight figures and then a week later the final figures come through and they're usually about a million higher)

Thats interesting. So he could still be on track with Alex? To be fair its impossible to tell with percentages. Just as an example if both Alex and Joe were to sell 100,000 copies in one day and the #2 in Alex's year was on 50,000 and the #2 in Joe's year was on 60,000 then the percentages are gonna look different. We won't know anything and won't be able to work anything out until tomorrow

Said this in the itunes thread as well but: for Alex - was that between Sunday Midnight into Monday afternoon or was it Sunday Midnight to Sunday afternoon? Cos Joe has had the equivialant of the latter
