  1. Couldn't find the X-Factor one but found this for Britain's Got Talent this year: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/broadcasting/s...during-bgt.html And if you think that's mad look at America: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/cult/s10/lost/...or-usd900k.html
  2. I don't know if it was the exact figure, but advertisers would be willing to pay for it if it means getting their product out there and for the public to buy it. Plus X-mas + X Factor = massive sales boost
  3. I remember the final of X Factor in 2008 i think i saw an article saying that ITV were demanding £200,000 per advert. (I think it was this much anyway) Potentially ITV could have made a million in just 3 minutes. It's why its only the more well known brands would do this - and alot of Music advertisments - as its also gonna get their target audience, who will rush out to the shops to buy the cd - especially for christmas. And in that scenerio it would be the record company that pays ITV for that advert slot, and that money comes out of the record contract. So when you hear "Robbie Williams signs £80 million 5 year album deal" or whatever it was - its not Robbie being given £80 million, its how much the record company are willing to invest. Anyway.... Now, the Kylie show won't be that much but i guess it could get close to £100K - though i have no idea so don't quote me on it
  4. Because ITV will make more money out of it then what Kylie will. They give her £500K to do the show (I don't know if this will contribute the cost of making the show) but then advertisers will advertise their products and they pay ITV to show their adverts. They'll want to do that because they know they'll get millions of people watching the show - who could potentially buy their products. It's why Simon Cowell can wager such a big money demand for BGT and X Factor. All in all, ITV are helping Kylie, but Kylie is also helping ITV. Also, the more potential millions a show gets, the more money advertisers are likely to give ITV - it's why ratings are so important. i am willing to bet theough that the £500K given is also to help produce it. It'll probably pay for the studio space, dancers, lights, props, costume, the director, cameramen, ushers to show audience to their seats/take tickets, the cost of producing these tickets, etc. the list goes on. Although I don't know, I'm pretty sure that £500,000 is not all for Kylie, otherwise who else is gonna pay for the set-up?
  5. I think we might be seeing "Fight For This Love" hitting the Aria singles chart soon - its currently #67 on Itunes and thats only the album version
  6. Her name is still around in the UK - mainly cropping up when there is a new Brian/Kerry feud. I think it would be quite easy to slot back in to be honest. For example, I don't know how long Kelis has been away for, but she has a new single now thats got top 5 in the charts and I think all there has been is a video. My point is, if the song is strong, then it will be enough to sell, I don't think she would have any problems getting a spot on GMTV/This Morning

This is silly! Its actually annoying me because the album does have a few good songs on there which should be released - and yet the only song from the album thats released as a single is a cover!
  11. YAH! #1 for a 2nd week! Can't wait to see how the album charts!
  12. The Loving Kind was played at around 3pm I think on BBC Radio 2 today
  13. I can't believe people are still so harsh on Brian. I don't think he's arrogant at all, he's got a great sense of humour and clearly adores Delta
  14. Go Brian!!! So happy he has made it to #1! "Just Say So" is currently my top song for the summer weather we're recently having and its going down a treat!
  15. YES!!! Success in Australia! Hopefully the album will continue to rise but this is really good news that the album has charted! YAH!
  16. I just love "Mistakes" and "Just Say So". They're heaven to my ears! Can't wait for the rest of the album
  17. Brian has tweeted that he's got to #1 on the ARIA chart!! YAH! He's also said something about Chemical Rush being next so i guess thats gonna be the next single
  18. Not that i know of :( Apparently Take 40 website "accidently" leaked the songs - so now the person who originally put this up has privated the video - it will probably be back next friday when the album is released
  19. Poor Whole Lotta History!
  20. ddSfNfOTq8I What does everyone think? I am in love with it - very radio friendly

  22. Love this song! Intruiging that it features a b-side with Cheryl Cole
  23. I really love this song and I like Brian. I think he's a great artist and this song is brilliant! I hope it gets a summer release here - cos I feel its gonna be my summer song of '10 (Along with Kylie's new single) The video is pretty cool as well: B5_zdu987d8

The Bananarama new single "Love Don't Live Here" has a song on the EP called "The Runner" (its remixed) - but credited as Bananarama ft. Cheryl Cole - have they done a duet? Or is this a mistake? I haven't bought it yet
  25. Well their now on an independent label called Poplife, so I doubt the expectations are as great. Plus they sold more of their first album, then the last 2 Sugababes albums put together - and if they keep getting chances
